  1. It's about 250$ unless you go crazy with the upgrades. Add nickel plated cup holders, a toke box, and a built in chip tray for the dealer and you can easily spend 500$. Of course you have a kick *** casino grade table when you are done.
  2. If you have some basic wood working skills you can always just make your own. The plans are all over the net.http://www.homepokertourney.com/tables_build.htmYou can buy the felt and foam from http://www.pokersuppliesltd.com/ then all you need is a couple sheets of decent plywood and your all set.One of the tables I built.
  3. If you have any woodworking skills at all you should build the tables yourself. It's not that hard, the plans are easy to find online.http://www.homepokertourney.com/tables_build.htmPic of my latest:
  4. I've always liked the InPlay Clay chips.http://www.buypokerchips.com/inplay-clay-p...-chips-s/24.htm
  5. I guess my number one recommendation would be to read Harrington on Hold'em vol 1 and Sklanski's no limit hold'em theory and practice. If reading is out of the question Phil Gordon's DVD for tournaments or Daniel's DVD for cash games. However I really wouldn't recommend any of the DVD's I've seen unless you can get them for free and are somehow unable to read.
  6. When funds are seized by the government I believe they stop accruing interest.
  7. Event 7 looks awful tempting. I almost never get a chance to play Omaha live. However it's a pretty long drive from Detroit.February 14Event #7No-Limit, 1/2 Hold 'Em - 1/2 Omaha High$300 Entry Fee + $40 Registration
  8. I picked up two cards from wallgreens. They were issued by "gift2go" http://www.gift2go.net . I was able to use one on Pokerstars and the other on FullTilt.
  9. http://www.pokerprophecy.com is close to what you are looking for. They keep some stats on players SNG performance. Not as good as real notes you take for yourself but can be a small help. If a guy has played 500 SNGs and cashes 40%+ of the time he is probably not a complete donk.
  10. I just picked up a couple gift2go cards at my local Wallgreens. They worked just fine at FullTilt. YMMV.
  11. The debit card from my bank has never worked. Looks like for now my best bet is to go to the local drug store and buy a visa gift card of some kind.
  12. So with the recent crack down on neteller I find myself wanting to play online poker again. I tried to sign up with click2pay but they are not accepting any new US customers. ePassport is taking my entire life to set up, most likely a problem with my bank who knows. One thing I am thinking about is simply driving over to Canada and opening a bank account. Has anybody else who lives close to the border tried this? What are other US players using currently? Thanks in advance for the suggestions.
  13. I second what the CinciKid said. 1/2 NL game at your local card room is way softer than 1/2 online.
  14. Try http://www.pokerwire.com they have excellent live updates.
