I could watch grass grow in HD. It is awesomeness. And Shana looked good. Mmmmm 1080p.

Not nearly enough poker being done in hi-def. Watched the NBC HU in HD and it looked gorgeous. Last I saw PAD was not being done in HD. NBC's production quality is high.

Prelim events no. He was asking about "most events."

Wake me up in 18 months and I'll let you know.

They didn't really "double" the levels since 25-25 -> 25-50 is not really doubling. A better way to look at it is just that they doubled the starting stacks and eliminated Level 1. Then again your basic point was pretty much correct. Please don't take my money

Difference between selling and staking. For example if you and a friend are playing in the same event, you might each take a piece of each other's equity, e.g. 10% of yourself. Here you'd just cash:equity proportionally. Similarly, if you sell 50% of your equity in a 10K event, you'd get back 5K in cash.

Is the 4k your bankroll or your current life savings?

PokerDB and Sharkscope will give you past results for MTT and S&G respectively. For notes on how other players play, do the work yourself. You'll get more out of them that way and besides I doubt anyone will share their notes with you anyway. I consider mine a personal trade secret.

Are you pissed you may have to update your sig?On a whim I'm playing as much shorthanded microstakes NL as I can. I want to see what kind of winrate I can sustain over at least 10K hands down there.

Cliff Notes summary for those of us that missed the whole thing?

As my Grandfather liked to say about Europe, "I already went once and liberated the goddamn place, why the hell should I have to go back?"I've spent a decent amount of time in Europe and my general conclusion is that the average Euro's impression of an American is further from reality than the average American's view of the typical European. Then again, I'm an American, so what do I know?

It's not unique, it happens to all guys every once in a while.

These factors are external to whether or not you have arbitrarily or otherwise set a number at which you plan to leave ahead. When you're tired or the game has toughened you are no longer a favorite, which is why you should get up. It's just circular logic to arrive at the same conclusion.

OP, please consider the possibility that you are a losing player at the current limits at which you play. Drop down and find a level you can comfortably beat. This would not be a bad thing.

Why do you care about airfare you have $401K in the bank! (sw)

Great movie. I used to eat at the bar McHales in Hell's Kitchen where Kevin Bacon gets shot, but it closed last year. It had awesome burgers.

Don't laugh. Vegas is doing quite well off it's usual .2% edge. Volume, volume, volume.

High Stakes Poker -- Antonio's Bluff Gone Bad

Great shot of Benyamine's body language as he's calling the last raise on the turn. Lots of shaking and what really looks like genuine fear. Then when he sees he's won the pot you can literally see the relief wash over him. -
Over the first 15K hands or so I tracked when I started using PT I realized how poorly I was playing from the small blind, basically by completing way too often. I fold unless I've got a hand I can speculate with really comfortably, and those saved small bets accumulate over time. This is for NL.

Um, hello? Getting up is like five standard deviations below the mean. Don't you know that???

I saw you suck out on my buddy Basebalman yesterday deep in the Saturday 300 on Stars A10>AQ on a Q10x flop. He went on to bubble. He says he wishes you'd have gone to Vegas.
