  1. Welcome to the board suited, i'm new myself so i figure i sould follow your lead and figure i should write a little profile about myself.Tournament accomplishments:I have a few but the most notable are a 1st place in a 10+1 multi table at pokerroom. I also have a 4th and 7th place. All of these within the last 3 weeks.Total tourny earnings: Right about $700Cash games: I can usually be found playing .50/1 limit on pokerroom.Best game: I think my best game is no limit holdem. Its where i started and i still feel like its my best game. I have been doing very well in multi table tournament
  2. I actually recomend playing on pokerroom, the site as a whole is pretty soft. They have a decent bonus of 20% i believe. The low limit ring games are soft and the multi table tournaments are great.
  3. come on, somebody has to have some criticism
  4. Hi everyone,Its been a while since I posted and I have not posted very much but I read the threads all the time. It was once suggested to me that I post some hands here for analysis so here they are. Please feel free to talk about whatever hands you wish and say whatever you want, I can take criticism and I am here to learn.Thank you,Eddie Moneythis is an old account of my dads on pokerstars which i played, the name is RayBolger.PokerStars Game #1222702933: Hold'em Limit ($0.25/$0.50) - 2005/02/15 - 23:03:13 (ET)Table 'Jena' Seat #4 is the buttonSeat 1: gresan ($22.80 in chips) Seat 2: hay
  5. Thanks for all of the replys i will take all of the advise and try to improve my game. I consider myself a student of the game and will use these hardships online as a way to improve. Perhaps i will look into getting that book that smash suggested. If anyone else has and other readings to help improve my online game, i will take any advise i can get. I will aslo take any additional advise from anyone. Once again thanks for everyone who replied before and thanks in advance for all additional posts.Eddie-Money
  6. In regard to what smash proposed.......you are correct in assuming that i don't keep records of wins/losses and i have no idea how much revenue i had last year from poker. all i know is that i made all my car payments and basicly spent money on whatever and had more money in my bank account at the end of the year than i did at the beginning so i'm pretty sure i played profitable poker. I appreciate ur posts and i hope u can take my word for this. I really should start keeping an accurate record though.
  7. Yeah i think i need to stick to live play as well, i just can't find a game around my college anymore. Its a small college and nobody seems to want to play with me after i took alot off em my first few weeks here. Don't get me wrong i am a profitable player online, its just not near as much and i have to grind it out alot more. I'll just have to keep playing and hopefully things will pick up.I finally got to a final table in a multi a few days ago, so things are looking up.Thanks for the replys.Eddie-Money
  8. Hi, i've been reading for a while but this is my first post. I turned 18 last may and since have been playing online poker. I don't have hardly any money so i don't play for high stakes at all. I've been playing poker since i was a little kid though in family games and stuff like that and along with the poker craze have begun playing with friends all the time. My problem is this......I can't seem to be a consitsant winner at online poker. Whenever i am face to face with people i do very well, i am a consistant winner of home games and tournaments i enter. I win tournaments at my college
