Agreed. Also you have to picture it being foggy and sometime in the late 1940s.

You make it sound like this was an SNG at a gay bar.
-
That's lame then...what's the point of having satelites for them then?
-
Say you win a satelite to one of the rebuy events for the WCOOP. How do you rebuy once you get into the tournament? Do you have to spend $200?
-
Tough one man...at least you made a good read though. Maybe would've slowed down on the turn but he would've just put you to a decision on the river anyway. We'll get these bastards someday!

Better question...why do they make so many pink poker chips? So, so gay.I do have to say the 25k chips at this years WSOP were pretty hot though. Maybe they just want the chips to not be worn...I'm guessing from people shuffling for a week and half some of them get in rough shape and so they just end up ditching the whole batch. I am just speculating. All casinos count their tournament chips at the end of tourneys and store them in the vault with the real money chips. Not sure what happens though when they end up short.

Actually its from Theory and Practice. He was talking about cash games, so I don't know if it really applies to tournaments. His reasoning was that hands like the Q8 suited are more likely to find the right flop to stack someone than a hand like J5. He advocates raising strong hands and weak hands in the BB (weak hands not very often), but checking medium hands. I don't know guys...does the theory relate to tournaments?

http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/09/15/school.bombs.ap/index.htmlThis is only a few miles away from where I live. What the article doesn't say is that they made 10 quarts of napalm. All because he broke up with his internet girlfriend...LOL.

10-5 might be a better hand to push here than say Q 9 ...simply because the Q9 does better in a multi way pot if you flop draws, etc. Sklansky says its better to push in spots with complete crap than with hands that have some potential. That having been said, I'd probably still check.

I was going to say blocking bet on the turn from the villian until I saw it was a $5 SNG.

Anyone Here Try Going Pro But Had To Go Back To A 9 To 5?
Teavis replied to Dratj's topic in General Poker Forum
In 2004 I decided to "go pro" on a bankroll of 1200. HAHAHA. Wow I was dumb. But it was just for during the summer as a job instead of working some **** *** mall job or whatever. The first couple weeks I made about 200 each week and cashed it out and lived on it. Then I lost 200 the next week and had a brilliant idea. I would cash out 900 and leave me with 100. Now I had 900 in my bank account and I was one rich college student, buying expensive beer and weed by the truckload. For the first couple weeks I turned my 100 into 300-500 and cashed out back to 100. Then I lost the 100. Then -
