depends on the roster positions. if there are 3 WRs and a W/T position I would definitely go with Harrison or Steve Smith. But if 2rbs and only 2WRs, then a top running back is a good option too.

Opinions are usually good, bad, or indifferent......not necessarily "wrong". It is difficult to pinpoint one "right" answer concerning poker. It was a head-up situation and the guy included raising the other player half of his stack on the flop. Also, he was knocked out on this hand, which would mean stack sizes were fairly equal but he was covered.My "wrong" opinion is still raise him all-in on the flop instead of raising him half his stack.

Maybe there is more than one good answer for any question. Different opinions doesn't mean that people are "wrong". There just opinions.

Top pair vs. one player on the flop is a strong hand.......so play it strong. Likewise, AJ is a stronger hand short handed which could validate a raise pre-flop.

I kinda like this theory, can't go wrong with Harrison. Steve Smith may be the best WR available if u go that route. I like this WR play here because you can then look to go rb-rb in the 4th and 5th round. 3rd round go for another top wr like Reggie Wayne or Galloway. Sleeper rbs that will fall to 4th and 5th round are Mike Bell and Deshaun Foster. These two guys have chance to put up some monster numbers this year and will allow u to get two top WRs....

Since raising pre-flop wasn't your question, I won't offer my view on that.Instead, after reviewing your question, I believe you should have raised him all in on the flop. Raising him half is stack is daring him to call. With only 4 players remaining, make him pay all his chips for his draw or to hit his second pair.

This may be the way because scared money never wins. But if your niche is dollar sitngos then more power to ya. But it is difficult playing any cash game with such a limited bankroll.

The game of poker should be played with something at stake. After all, the word "bluff" would have never originated from penny ante poker. Play money is one thing, but playing for pennies should not be considered "real money" poker.

short stacked play is good for a limited bankroll. Of course, to maximize u should put the full table limit up. But in this guys case we are talking about $50 total!!!!! And Im not arguing, just stating my opinion. Some day u might wanna get off ur high horse.

Just because the max buy-in is $25, doesn't mean you have to put $25 down. With a limited $50 bankroll, $5 is enough to get into the game and try and make some money. No need to buy-in for the max with a tiny bankroll. My point here is to make money and at the same time risk little. So this is a good time to play short stacked and double off the big stacks just like a tournament.

fold equity just means that you win by folding. Money saved by folding is money won.....

tiny buy-in sit and gos anre not the way to go. I recommend you play som .10-.25 cent pot limit or no limit holdem and slowly build your bankroll up that way. Then after you get past 100 or so, play higher buy-in sit and gos. And if u bomb out at the sit and gos, then go back to 25 cent live play and build the bankroll back up and so on.But dollar sit and gos arent worth the time and effort. well Hafner got snubbed by Ozzie Guillen, as all-star coaches will favor their own players and players they like. Hafner is with the elite guys though, no doubt. He is so tough to pitch too because of his plate coverage and he can hit to all fields. He seems like a quiet guy that just goes about his business. Cleveland teams have been medicocre which may be why he is not well known.
