  1. Hi Smash,You raise a very good point. My initial thought was to have MBG lose the money to our hero but with the game of choice being the high roller NL table at Bellagio making that scenario play out in a realistic fashion becomes problematic. As the end goal of the sting is to relieve MBG of the cash he has in his possession as opposed to our hero winning the money for his own personal gain I wrote the scene such that MBG ends up losing his wad to one of the ancillary characters at the table.   2. Hey fellow poker junkies,I am currently at work on a book. While I have no illusions about writing great literature I do pride myself on churning out fast moving yet factually accurate airport trash which brings me to the purpose of this post. One of the pivotal scenes in the book (which is of the techno thriller genre) has one of the minor bad guy characters spending time in Las Vegas where he is relieved of a large sum of other people's money by way of a high stakes poker game. This unfortunate turn of events is exploited by our intrepid hero to swing minor bad guy over to the good guy team
