  1. I thought it was a really good episode, but I didn't really laugh out loud at any point in it. I think some of it was predictable. As soon as you saw the sun tan bottles, you knew it was booze. When you saw Charlie with the lotion, you knew he was drinking lotion.I thought Charlie was going to wake up on the beach alone because he was hallucinating from sun/lotion/toxic waste.I thought the funniest part was when Dee called Mac fat at the end.
  2. That's the gayest shit I ever heard!
  3. Ya, the crankster white dude. He's from Santa Cruz.
  4. IRT yields, I'm not talking treasuries, I'm talking the whole spectrum. MBS, corps, high yield, foreign soveirgn, etc. Also, what did libor do recently?
  5. Three questions:1. what does this do to the fed funds rate after the two year hold?2. what does the this do to the LIBOR for the next few years3. Over the past two years I have been shortening duration, it seems to me that I can safely go back out on duration to get yield, at least for the next couple years, thoughts?
  6. That and the fact that he said a few years back if he did a level or joke account he would go all out. That being said, this account isn't good enough to be scram.
  7. Ya, I would probable give 5 or 10 if I had it on me.If it were a person I considered a friend I would get them a gift myself, and by get them a gift myself, I mean I would have my wife raid things we were given that we never used and re-gift it to them.

  9. I liked the guy that Tanner used to do blow with under the boardwalk.
  10. All they would have to do is make permanent adjustments to the AMT.
  11. Not any more. Those bastards want 15 - 20 an hour.
  12. You know what, September 21st, 2011 should have been the best posting day of my life, this should have been my triumph and I got to enjoy it for maybe 9 minutes.
  13. Very well said. Even his stand up is rarely "hilarious".
  14. I've had this conversation numerous times on here, but I am not a fan of Seinfeld. I have never thought he was funny. Elaine just annoyed me. Occasionally I would laugh at Kramer or George and the fat guy from Space Jam,(I think he was the mailman or a neighbor, can't remember).I am also not saying their weren't funny things that came from Seinfeld, like I think the "they just write it off" joke is at the top end of funniest things ever on TV, but those moments for me were just far and few between. It was more annoying that funny. Like I remember the Man Hands episode, which had some funny par
  15. OK so last night I stayed at a buddies house and apparently he and his wife watch both HIMYM and 2.5M. I had never seen either show. I watched 2 EP of HYIMYM, and the only thing that was funny was Jason Seagal got really drunk and did something called Edward 40 hands. Other than that it was pretty bad, except for there were some hot chicks.I refused to watch 2.5 men, I just don't care.I have yet to delve into CYE, because it has been described as Seinfeld with swearing, and well, I can't stand Seinfeld (I know, I know).
  16. Isn't it pretty early to be drinking? If your name isn't beansnicewater
  17. OK, so that reminds me of something I heard in high school. I can't remember if this was a just a story that was made up or if it was part of a stephen king novel, I am thinking the latter.Basically the gist is there is a race, if you are the last man standing you win anything you want (basically a genie in the bottle wish without magic). The stipulation is if at any time you drop below 5 mph (or something like that) you are immediately killed. So you have to keep moving, you have piss, shit, eat and drink (I don't think food and water is provided) all while walking/jogging.If this were a true
  18. To be fair brvheart really loves Ryan Reynolds.
  19. I have a buddy that just did this.http://toughmudder.com/He said it was the hardest thing he has ever done. On a scale of 1-10 it was a strong 10.
  20. I don't think Henry understand the cost of running a pension. He does have a point though, that the 401Ks may be more conducive to people who are planning to change jobs a lot. Companies like ATT, PGE, Railroads, etc that have lifers, still have pensions. But a company like HP is phasing theirs out.
  21. I know we have talked about this before, but the collection of intellect on this board, specifically this thread has to be a couple of standard deviations to the right. I am sure it has to do with the subject matter and that most poker players seems to be intelligent. Even though most here don't play much if at all anymore.
