  3. While this is technically correct, esp. in limit games, Isn't it also correct to pass up a small +EV opportunity now for a bigger one later, Not that I'm saying this isthe time but it can be correct to turn down a +EV situation.
  4. wow, I think this hand was played badly (I think it's a fold on the flop), but he played much worse. Buddylist and valuebet this guy all day.
  5. Do you think its possible to email fulltilt and say, I'll deposit and play but only if I can get rakeback, otherwise I'll just play at stars? and see if they'll let me get it?I should probably just sign up a new account seeing as they don't have any of my details but still I like this name and don't want to give it up without a fight.
  6. lol I'm blind and thought you were talking about the first hand and i was like, you're even considering folding KK in a cap game?
  7. Yeah I had to wookipedia it, although I'm guessing it was from the solo trilogy, which I never read.
  8. I always get a warm fuzzy feeling whenever someone gets my sn as most people are like whats mln.
  9. Do you think free rolls count cos I won $2 in a free roll (obv I'm gunna beat Jesus to 10k). I can't email them till probably tomorrow as I don't have access to my computer (this is work's and they have blocked gmail). I haven't paid any rake or tourney fees yet but.
  10. So after losing those 4 buyins to that one guy, I went to dinner and came back to play for a while, and slowly lost another two buyins, so I shut down pokerstars. I felt like playing some online flash game type things but I haven't got flash to work well in linux yet (did I mention I'm a nerd) I booted into mac osx (Yes big nerd I installed linux on a mac). Anyway I decided I'd play a freeroll on Full Tilt seeing as how they have a mac client. So now it's time for my own BBV.Brag: I finished 10th out of 2700Beat: I finished 10th and not first for a cash of $2 instead of $15Beat: There aren't a

  12. Sorry don't get me wrong, Your obviously profiting and found your niche, It just seems a very hard way to make a living by breaking even at the tables. Breaking even leaves you as variance's ***** as you no doubt know.Would moving up or down affect the rake factor? I'm assuming not as, as you go higher skill of opponents goes up and edge decreases, and as you go down rake to pot ratio goes up as you don't reach the cap on the rake as often.
  13. It seems like all your posts go like this, do you win at poker or are you a professional rakebacker and bonuswhore?
  14. Tough one, QsXs or a hand that beats you I think, theres just no draw out there for him to call with on the flop. Saying that I think its a fold but I probably call lol.
  15. Welcome Lobster You posted in the wrong thread but thats ok I am an intellingent quoter. Reason for quote, here are two hands that I wanted to post.First hand I think I correctly kept the pot small I think and lost the leastPokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)saw flop|saw showdownHero ($9.85)Button ($6.50)SB ($6.25)BB ($5.85)Preflop: Hero is UTG with A , T . 16. yeah it was close but, as you can imagine in a 2.20 tourney the bubble play was very donkish in a few spots, ie. a 4 may pot with an all in someone semibluffs an ace hi flush draw (misses obv, idiot)Thankyou everyone for the advice, I believe my sattelite game is +EV but it's still improving.
  17. yeah I didn't think so. Of course I'm a donk and called, and he had T9 and he hit trip tens. This is the 2.20 sats to the sunday hundred grand. Does it make any difference that 7th actually gets $7 as well so its only a half bubble.
  18. Do I have enough chips to call here or should I fold and wait it out? Villian has been just about the only player active on the bubble. This is a sattelite with 6 seats awarded.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t1600 (7 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)MP1 (t3110)MP2 (t8820)CO (t3515)Button (t7440)Hero (t10203)BB (t14462)UTG (t6450)Preflop: Hero is SB with 9 , A . 3 folds, CO raises to t3440, 1 fold,
  19. So I've started playing the Stars 100 grand sats in order to build up some $T cos I suck at tourneys and would like to get better and these things are killer easy. I figure if I have a seperate bankroll for tourneys I may play better. Im at 15.80 focusing on the 2.20 turbos. On the cash front, last week I took a shot at nl25 and ran very well to start, and then I played bad/ran semi not good and lost all the profit back to break even. But since moving back down nl10 has seemed so much easier so I might stay here for a while longer than planned, maybe till the roll is 700ish. I'm not sure I may
  20. I want to stay here too.Is this the first superthread of general poker?
  21. I'm not a huge fan of trying to recreate things but... Have you considered putting $500 dollars on a new site such as Tilt or whatever and starting the challenge again?
  22. this annoys me, I play 3 weeks of nl10 and lower and make about 300vpps then I take a 2 day shot at nl25( i practically broke even) and make just under 1000. I wish I could win so I could move up.
