  3. I bought into the FullTilt $12k a couple hours ago. It starts while Midnight Madness is on break, so I sit out the first couple hands. First hand I come back I'm dealt JdTd UTG, I limp, all fold to button who limps, SB calls, BB raises to 150, the button and I call. Flop, KQ5 one diamond. BB checks, I bet 300, button calls, BB folds. Turn offsuit 2, I shove like an idiot, button calls with 55, river is a blank, GG...IGHN. LOL. ISANL.
Ew at the limp. Ew at the push. gg sir. For some reason I blanked out and didn't register for that one. :club:
  4. 2870 at first break. Took a hit when AsKs < AQo when I put the dude all in on the flop of 2s4s5h. :icon_frown:p.s. 12.5k at 2nd break in other $10 tourney that started an hour b4 this. Why can't I run this well in $24's? :club:$20 says that Cinci starts pickin up hands while the rest of us go card dead.

  5. Yes in a heartbeat. Its a $11 online tournament. You can just hop into another tourney if u lose (or if u win for that matter).75% everyone folds and you take blinds --- + $1215% someone calls and you lose --- + $110% someone calls and you double up gaining a nice stack to take on more donks --- + $12 and a nice stackNow, I have a REAL question. You drive 70 minutes down to your local Indian Casino to play a $150 tourney with decent/good structure in the first 2 hours, but then turns into a total crapshoot. You rarely go down for the tournament. The tournament is starting within minutes and the field is capped. You and your friend already have your ticket. Some man offers you $180 for your ticket. Do you accept his offer and wait for your friend to win/bust and gain $30 right there or do you decline his offer and play the tournament?
After gas you have what like, $15? Altho the tourney may be -EV, you gotta play it after coming all that way. You cash and you're guaranteed over $15 (I would assume).btw, triple up in the first 2 levels of the MM. Gotta love it. JJ vs 1010 on flop of 962. AJ vs 99 on board of 66JA4.
  6. In stud, you have two down cards and one up card to start.Jacks split is the following...Downcards: J , AUpcard: J99's or better wired is the following...Downcards: 99Upcard: AnythingSo "wired" cards are your down cards that are paired. Split pairs are when you have a down card that pairs your up card.Hope that made sense.

  7. Last weekend I was playing Casino Windsor $1-$2 NLHE. At around 2:30am I noticed my girlfriend and her friend poking their heads around the entrance to the poker room so I headed over. Both were drunk and asked for $20 for a cab home. I had rebought and didn't have any cash on hand, only debit, so I told them I'd grab some chips off the table and give them that. I go to my table and explain the situation and boy, was there an uproar. I had roughly $750 in front of me at this point and said, "Well, if I can't take $20 I have have to leave the game". Now, every time I've seen a player want to take money off the table (give to friend mostly) the dealer had left it up to the players. These dudes wouldn't let me take $20 off the table but DID make me take $750 off. I thought it was fair, since that was my only option.Am I wrong? And no, I don't let them walk home. I would suspect that I would not have a problem letting $20 walk off the table in favour of keeping the other $730 ON. Honestly, what gives?
People are power hungry douchebags. Guaranteed if one of them is in your spot they would flip if the table didn't let them take off $20.
  8. Soft playing a buddy is colluding. Just because you aren't squeezing someone else doesn't mean you aren't cheating. Playing a friend softer than anyone else at the table is cheating! Plain and simple!
You're one of those guys who has no friends right?I actually "got in trouble" for this when me and my friend were the only ones in the pot (he was MP and I was BB) and we checked it down. He actually hit a set on the river but we went check check the whole way. I had like middle pair (he rivered me that son of a ***** :club: ). Some old dude at the table flipped **** because we soft played each other. I actually got called a whippersnapper which was interesting. He actually dropped the F bomb as well. It was quite out of line. They knew we were friends because we joined the table at the same time and came to the table talking and laughing together. And we would make jokes at one another at the table. It was the first pot we played HU together. We explained to the old fart that it was our money to do as we pleased and there is no rules to how you play a hand and it was cash. He demanded for the floor. The floor didnt do anything, obviously, and we only played 1 HU pot 2gether the next 8 hours and it was a similar situation (BB vs. limper folded around) and played it the exact same way.Our reasoning, us only being 18, we travelled 3 hrs to go play cards for a few days in a different state that is 18 to gamble. Why take each other's money? Now if this were a tourney, different story, but it's cash. The old guy was completely out of line because he wasn't losing money by what we were doing and we were actually just speeding the game along.
