I'm willing to deal with skinny fat until I get down to a target weight so that I can start lifting a little. Running can burn 1000-1200 an hour (About 150/mile if the calculators/treadmill are accurate). Currently going about 3 hours/week, which burns a pound if I can average 2400 calories/day (my guess at my "maintain" intake).

Instead of considering the consumption of the 15 drinks/day, you need to estimate how much you would actually drink and then look at the cost. If they charge $10/drink, the daily plan is likely going to be worthwhile. Especially if you are brvy. Edit: Ouch.

$90/day for 2 to drink is nothing at a bar, much less a cruise.

Based on discussions with others that have been on cruises, $45/day for booze is a hell of a deal. I assume a drink is a beer or a watered down mixed drink?
