  1. For me Friends is all about Joey and Chandler, I mean them interacting was good, and how Joey's character developed over the years, obviously the show peaked around season 4.Then Monica just became a little bit more annoying each season, Rachael just set up funny lines for other people...and Matthew Perry...well he stopped doing coke...that hurt him. But the seasons when the friends really were friends outside the show, you could tell they had a really good chemistry and when the writing was still fresh and 'never been done' stuff. Past season 8 the highlight of the show was during the end
  2. I believe he stated in 'Part 1' that he prepares these write-ups mainly for friends and family who have little knowledge of poker and that is why some of the more basic principles he is trying to employ are explained in significant detail. It's not all about you. j/k.Edit: Ok, beat me to it.
  3. It's all about the anchors...ie. van pelt, everett....emmy worthy
  4. The difference is, evidence shows that in wrestling it is the norm and essentially acceptable for wrestlers to use steroids, whether the WWE or Vince whatever would publicly admit or acknowledge it.In all other professional sports steroids are explicityle permitted and there is a system in place to test for and stop and punish those who do use steroids. (whether the systems in place are good or work well is a different story)Also, the world of pro wrestling is much smaller in numbers than say the entire NFL....a few hundred people v. a few thousand, so the ratio of these incidents or deaths or
  5. It's interesting the different 'type' of moments people find to be the funniest, because some of them I find to be not funny really at all and then others are the exact ones that pop into my head.Examples:Not Funny: Elaine drawing eyebrows on Leo, Jerry cursing in front of the kidFunny: Jerry and Kramer interacting in Jerry's apt, all Jerry Stiller scenes, Kramer telling a story (fantasy baseball camp, the gunman on the bus) etc.
  6. Well what is the concept and idea behind wrestling in the first place, it plays up to the desire of certain indivuals who like to see violent acts play out and the story lines that go along with them, whether ficticious or not. Who were the best wrestlers? the ones who make it look "most real" or the ones that were willing to take the most punishment on their bodies? If anything is the blame it is the people who support and follow something like professional wrestling. Why is our society turns on by things like violence and gore? Why were past societies turned on by the same thing? Just be
  7. I don't think any of us here are qualified to make any sort of statement/judgment about the circumstances of these events or about anyone's mental health in general, except maybe the psychiatrist.Regardless of how heinous the acts were none of you knows the circumstances surrounding them outside of what you read in a couple of news articles.Maybe he was mental disturbed, does that mean it's ok? NoMaybe he was just a bad person who for some other reason lost control. Does that make the acts more heinous? No
  8. A well articulated example of the similar yet more fleeting thoughts that i have on an almost daily basis.
  9. So how much do you poop exactly?
  10. It definitely works, maybe not UTG, but maybe UTG+2, UTG+3. I'd much rather steal from this position if it is folded to me than say OTB or 1 off the button. People usually give ZERO credit for a legit hand when someone opens in LP, the re-raise range in this situation is VAST. however in the early, early-mid, the players behind usually assume you have at least better than air, so they give you credit for a decent ace, or middle pocket pair....this is enough to scare them out of re-raises w/o a premium hand. Only issue that can present itself is a flat call from a player left to act, now yo
  11. Could you please give me some examples of the practical proof and evidence you have? Or is the amount that you 'need' actually ZERO?If it's zero, then kiser is correct. If there is some practical proof or evidence that you rely on in contructing your beliefs, then please tell us what it is.
  12. I thought that was implied.
  13. Dude, If this style of writing is indicative of the skill you possess that enabled you to 'be fortunate enough' have multiple articles published then we (as a society) are in a sad state of affairs.I'm also curious as to how you were "behooved" to congratulate the OP on his work? Are you saying that was "necessary and proper" for you to congratulate him based on "moral and ethical considerations"? In other words you were morally obliged to praise someone for an article they've written through the highlighting of your own personal achievements?Or, maybe is was the other defintion of behoove,
  14. I'm at 6000 now, made a potentially bad laydown of QQ pf with after a raise, re-raise, re-re-raise.
  15. in....for at least a little while.
  16. I couldn't watch a pack of lions stalk, kill, and devour baby wildebeests for multiple hours due to both physical and emotional distress....does that mean it is biblically wrong for lions to hunt wildebeests?
  17. Kyle why is it wrong for a 15 and a 22 year old to have sex, but ok for an 18 year old and a 60 yr old to have sex? Either biblically, or personally, or societally.
  18. What sort of response are you looking for? What are you asking? You're giving you're opinion on something, the only response I can think of is...."Ok."I don't know anything I didn't know before, you haven't blown me away, there is nothing about your thoughts that hasn't been discussed thousands of times already. But, if that's the way you feel and you're confident that it is a 'good' 'correct' 'right' outlook then more power to you, i guess.
  19. What a horrible writer.
  20. this isn't something to be proud of. regardless of how bad a human fallwell was.
  21. Of course, and It's only 1 finger. Difference is, I don't care.
  22. Aren't you an 'armchair psychologist' by making claims about what someone you deem an 'armchair psychologist' thinks and feels?Seems a bit hypocritical.
