  1. Anyone have some good stats to enter in either Poker Office or PT to use for auto rating for short handed games? All I play in ring games is 6 seated, and the auto rating algorithm is obviously set up for full ring games. I don't feel like taking the effort to come up with what I think the parameters should be, but at the same time, the programs don't help as much when everyone's icon says Loose and I get Rocks who are only considered Tight. And it takes too much time to look at their actual stats...Thanks!
  2. Ahhh, true jealousy rears its head. Not that I care that you don't believe me, but what would it take to convince you? Because believe it or not, it's 100% real.
  3. If you look anything like your avatar, I can't marry you because I'm already married, but I'll still **** the **** out of you...
  4. I know that 2600/120 is just under $22 per hand.I know that it's running at 34.22 BB/100 and 24.12 BB/Hr.And I do know that duck and cover is a valid, money making strategy.I also know that after 11,000 hands on the new site, walking away a winner more than 75% of the times I sit, being up what I'm up, IS beating the game. Here's the thing, I could lose every dollar left in my BR right now (~$17k) that I haven't withdrawn, and I've STILL beat the game. On and Off?!?26 days, only 3 losing days. One losing day was $19.One was $234.And one bad day of $4700.Minimum winning day - $403.Days with winn
  5. BTW, after 120 hands tonight at 6 different tables (at work, so duck and run was fully employed), up an additional $2,621.00, $1,135 of it from 50/100.
  6. Well, let's see, I've played 50/100 for just under 8 hours now and made just under $9k in profit there...Took $600 or so off a guy earlier. I was BB, he raised UTG, UTG+1 called, I had J7s and called. J was hi card on rainbow flop. I checked, he bet, UTG+1 called, I raised, they both called. K on turn, I checked, UTG bet, UTG+1 folded, I called.A on river, I checked, he bet, I called and took it down with my pair of J's.He was raising with 43c, had been tilting, so I made the safe call down.I'm sure someone will come on here criticizing my play, but how can you argue with making a read, be
  7. And don't be afraid to duck and cover, even if it means you're done for the night. When I sit higher than my BR, if I make a killing early, I'm gone. Got nowhere to go but down if I sit $50/$100 and pull down $3,000 in pots in the first cycle...
  8. Oh, it's done. I have my pile of cash at home, $13k in my poker account, $4k coming to Neteller, and some nice new toys. What the haters fail to see, is that with a $50 initial BR, it's worth playing beyond your BR. At that level, it's just entertainment, so if I lose some of my winnings, or all of my BR, it's worth the risk to make a run.If I followed the same book they've apparently all memorized, I'd still be playing $0.05/$0.10, and STILL overplaying my BR, since, according to them, by not having 1,000 times the BB in my BR.I guess that's why most of them are toiling away at $1/$2 while I
  9. Haven't been using it. On a site not supported by PT. I downloaded the free trial of Poker Office, but found I was paying too much attention to that and not enough to the game I was in, so I'm done with tracking software.I keep a spreadsheet with the following data:Date| Time seated|Amount Bet|Amount Won|# Hands|Limts|Deposits|Bonuses|Rakeback|Withdrawals|Balance|Amount Won At Table|Hourly Rate|Daily Total|Weekly Total|Monthly Total|BB/Hour|BB/100|Then I have a bunch of summary statistics such as $$/Hour, $$/Hand, Breakdown by each table level, etc.I've found that's enough for me. I may not
  10. Not too shabby when you hit your monthly goal by the 20th of the month.Re-Re-revised obtainable June goal: +$30k$9600 to go (figure I'll get maybe $1k from rakeback rest of month and maybe $600 more in cleared bonuses), so really only $8k to go and 11 days in which to do it. Stretch goal: +$35kBased on my last 3,000 hands, stretch is definitely attainable.
  11. You are correct sir. Looks like I'll be readjusting those goals anyway. Another kick *** week.June is running at +$17,147.60 with $930 more to clear of bonuses (cleared $570 in last week), the $50 has been turned in to a net profit of $22,193.58 in 24 days.New June goal is $25,000 for the month...
  12. I don't really play there anymore, but UB folds them out if they're called as well...
  13. I'm having a kick *** month running at an average of 20.57 BB/100 at 5/10 and up.Goal is $20k for month, at just over $10k so far, and just started playing with rakeback (7.5 hours at $149 in rakeback so far).
  14. One thing to keep in mind, that the photography dream still comes first, over the poker dream. That's probably the least lucrative, but what would give me the most pleasure. The long term goal here is to start my own photography business and supplement with poker, NOT to be full time poker. The only reason I haven't chased the photography dream as of yet is that I haven't had the money for proper pro-photo equipment with back-ups for everything (Back-ups are needed in that business). My oldest son, yours truly, photographer:Good point epistemic
  15. OK, I'll bite, what the hell does this mean? And guys, give me a break a little. I started off saying it was nowhere close. But my winning is more than a simple turn in variance. I was a math major in college and an actuarial analyst in my day job, so I know that my winning is more than just variance. How much more is hard to quantify, but if I could keep this streak up for 6-8 more months, although I'm expecting to a lesser degree, it will definitely be time to consider. As for the downside of variance, I lost $4800 on Thursday night. Is that enough downside for you? Some stats:17 days14 wi
