I woulda folded on the flop. I highly doubt he would be leading into 6 people without a pair, so I would fold. It's not the flop you are looking for when you are calling raises with 85s, especially in a multi-way pot. He probably had JJ or TT and you sucked out.

How does that make sense? Just because Surinder didn't call?

I'd prefer to wait until I was in the SB or BB to make this move, as it seems like AA or KK would be more believable, but who am I to argue against DN...

Ok, I generally post over at Cardplayer, but I feel that a lot have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Someone posted this hand, and there seems to be some disagreement about what to do. I'd like some more opinions from some people that have a clue as to what they are talking about.402 person tourney. 155 left and 36 get paid. Hero has 16,800 and Villain has 9,800. Blinds are 100/200.Hero raises to 800 with AA. Villain calls from BB (1700 in pot)Flop: 5 5 5Villain bets all in for 9000.Hero ???I thought the answer was obvious, but who knows.

Because common poker god knowledge states that if you only run it once sometimes, then the flop will be AAK just to piss you off.
