    I was out at Caesar's Palace the other day to play the first prelim event for the WSOP Circuit hosted there currently. The structure is crazy; HUGE antes late in that really forces action, etc.I was doing great until I hit a wall and got extremely cold-decked - my stack dwindles down to 3.8k, with an m of 'minuscule'; with blinds at 300/600 75 ante...In shortstack poker, we like to be the first one into the pot. This is effective when you have fold equity. I was to the point where I had lost that, and had to accept the fact that to stay in the tournament, I need to win a coinflip confrontation, since I cannot afford to wait around and get in dominating. So I do just that:With blinds at 300/600 75 ante, it folds to the cutoff+1, who makes it 1600 to go. I'm on the button, and I look down on none other than pocket DUCKS. :)I think to myself, ok, here's a good spot to take a flip, with only 2 others to act after me, the likelihood of any of them waking up with hands is pretty slim, so I throw my 3800 chips into the pot.It folds to the bb, whom I barely cover, since he just got done taking a bad beat with KK when 33 rivered a set on him. He then calls off all in as well.By this time, the original raiser is getting a crapload-to-one on his money to call with any 2, he does just that.BB obv has AA, raiser has KQo, and here I am with my DUCKS. PearlJammer and r0llin_game who were both on my rail, casually say to the dealer, "Just put a duck out there, dealer!"As the flop comes out, we all can't help but grin, with the window card being a 2...followed by 4..... then A.I'm kind of saddened by this of course, but then hear PearlJammer say, "It's alright, just put the case deuce out there dealer!"Turn comes..... CASE DEUCE! Everyone goes ballistic - and all I can do is sit in my chair with my jaw dropped, and feel so sick bad for the other guy, who just got done getting his Kings cracked... and now I gotta 1 out the poor guy.LOL This is def the first time I have ever put that sick of a beat on someone. I felt so bad - but hey, that's poker... so I'll take it!!!Just thought I'd share with all my FCP'rs :DDEUCES NEVER LOSES!!!!!
