In an instant, it was gone. All our hopes, all our dreams, there strewn before us like the grizzled innards of a raccoon on the side of the road. But alas, is this our fate too?? Too often as we peer into the steely eyes of our nemesis we become paralyzed by this Medusa's gaze. But I ask you now to take a step back, and to see my precious friends, you've been looking into a mirror all along. We can escape, but only as one. Together, our songs of sunshine, our gleeful screams that are usually reserved for children 6 or under, and our soft whispers of compassion, cooing along to the beat o

I truthfully can't say it does not!! LOL Whenever I've done something so hurtful as you did to your special mate, I like to look them in the eye and request their hand. If they give it to me, I'm home free!! Why, you ask?? It is certain that I'll tell you. I take their hand, rub it thrice, and then ask of them "Where does sadness go to die?? I'd like to follow him there, for my heart is burdened more than I can bare!!" That's when I flash them a smile that is certain to send shockwaves of luminescent and abundant light through their hearts, and make them forget all about the fact that

Just once!! But in a sense, I truly believe we are in a jail of our own making every time we don't recognize the sheer grandeur of our own beating and boisterous hearts. Surely one day we'll all clasp hands in joyful unison and begin a never ending parade down the streets of our once broken but now healed souls. But in the meantime, is it it truly ours to live and to love, to see and to be seen, or to find solace in the dew drenched arms of a homeless man with a smile made of thunder, and loins dipped in the teardrops fallen from the eyes of the Creator of the Universe. Somedays I wonder i

I've always truly believed in the human heart, and our unmitigated potential to achieve dreams long thought impossible!! What a day it was when I first learned that the rich palette of the colors of the sunset were nothing more than an incredible illusion caused by light refracting from those tears bubbling in mine eyes as I mourned the loss of another day, along with the memories that would soon be forgotten as time reletlessly demands our thoughts in exchange for one more day of life. Ah perplexity of perplexities!! Though this weight threatens to undo me, Gargamel continues to lend me co

My favorite moment?? It's like choosing between blue and pink cotton candy!! Dear sir, may I have a bit of both?? LOL, I always say that to them, and then they flash me a smile to tell me that though they have strict instructions not to allow this, for me they'll make an exception!! On one condition, and that is if I coo with my gentle yet provoking voice a tune that will lift them out of their doldrums and send them on their way with not only a great story for their friends, but also a will to survive in a dark world that gave up on them long ago!! On this rollercoaster ride we call life

What a truly soul drenching experience I had last night!! But like all memorable moments, it can be hard to see the full tapestry of our fleeting and furtive feelings when we are still standing so close to it!! As I stood eye to eye with the that great dragon on the felt I could do no more but to swing my sword wildly, all the while cooing my simple songs of light that I might soften his burning loins and render him slayed by the beating heart of a small child!! Ah, but a glimpse!!And in the end, I am certain we'll all see just what it was that made our rollercoaster lives go "ting-a-ling"

Been jammin' in the studio today. Here's the newest song, pretty appropriate with all we've been through today. Will Love Guide Us Home??A starry night, a starry sky, too many starsIs there a star in your eye?A star in your eye, a star in your eyeThere's a star in your eye, I can't see past your light!!There's a mar in your life, a star in your eyeThe light of the night, the star in your eye!!Is there a star in your heart, to tear us apart??Can't we hold hands and sing, too big to begin again??I feel your heart thump, it pumpsthump..thumpdrum beat goes like this (bum te bump, thump thump thump

Even fallen angels deserve a second chance!! That's my confession, and my earnest belief. Sometimes, life will throw you a curveball, but when the third strike is registered, do we ever get a second chance?? On average, the answer that the universe has proclaimed is a resounding yes!! A second chance you will get, and a third chance is sure, and depending on where you bat in the lineup, and how well your teammates play in front of you, a 4th chance is a real good possibility!! This I truly and honestly believe!! And so, I say to you now. Give love a chance. Happenstance. These, our gl

Inspiring Words: By Clay AikenThere comes a time in life when you face a challenge that can potentially define you as a human being. And isn't this what we are, humans being?? That's what I always say!! Ha ha, to be sure, I've said it more than once, but that is neither here nor there. I guess what I'm trying to get at is that too often we come face to face with something that spews defiance and hatred right into our faces, but it is up to us to stand up that monster within (and sometimes without, but without a monster, do we ever really see the full beauty within?? Ah, but a glimpse!!)

Ah, this evervescent life!! Truly an experience to behold, each moment of our precocious existence bellowing forth and declaring for one and all to see that yes, truly, love can be found even behind the crumbs in the corners of our smiles, within the dimples of a small child, or standing in line at a hotdog stand, relishing every opportunity to sing our simple songs of ecstacy!! And isn't this what we knew all along?? Truly, a man of riches will say to you that money can buy everything, but can it?? Can it buy this smorgasbord of emotion, this hope of our hearts, that longs to see all thin

Ha, I'm always happy to take a question from a fan!! I'll be honest, I'm not really sure what it is you're talking about, but shuks no bother, right?? Ha ha, that's my catch phrase, "shuks no bother", I always say that!!Anyways, it's important to never let the little things in life get in your way, do you know what I mean?? I think that what you need to do is to really listen to your friend, because sometimes other people can see our own problems more clearly than we can ourselves!! And as you listen, keep your eyes tuned to your inner heart, that "bo beep, bo beep, sha ba ba bop" sound th

There's no time like the present!! And what a present it is, this gift of unspeakable magnitude, so still and serene, yet loudly proclaiming its hold on both animal and child alike!! And isn't this what our hearts speak of, in those quiet days of empty desperation, or flooded nights of patristic parasites, biting at the shoestring chords of my bemused, bubbling, unblemished heart, ah but a glimpse!! This tapestry of love, this heartache of loneliness, these quiet acts of abject surrender give me pause and declare to me in a bellowing, bohemian voice "Though this furtive glance from the ang

Where have I been?? A perplexing question to be sure, for I fear that any answer I give will only serve to advance the encroaching kingdom of darkness that seeks to destroy us all. For I have been held in the darkest regions in the pit of despair, in the midst of those who scream to the heavens for mercy as their souls be tomented thus in the day, and the night holds no relief but the sweet taste of sleep that can kill the pain for mere hours at a time. I ask you all to bear with me as I seek to overcome this unbridled sadness, and in time be restored to what I once was, a beacon of hope an

Ha!! I'm always happy to take a question from my fans!! You know what I always say?? If it wasn't for my fans, this flame would have died out long ago!! And isn't this what we are, flames of endless delight, and turbulent turmoils, all seeking our destiny in the warm heart of the designer of our souls, singing songs of dewdrop medallions, always reaching, ever grasping at the simple pleasures that bedazzle our wayward hope!! And like a pariah of good fortune, I turn my gaze to the west wind, that it might caress my yearning heart, and send it on its way to be filled by the bounty of all t

Our Holographic HeartsAway, away, I bid your heart to mineThe blink of an eye, is it a blink into time??The dewdrop bedazzles a soul so sublimedThe earth and its lusts, described on a wall, we fallAnd if this walls of our minds, the bluebird of our soul, Sings a new song, will you prolong this night tonight??I can't but see, the darkness surroundsA soul reflected in the tearstained path of the one who believedIn meA sound...A whimper...A cry...You're mineTonight.

To see our lives, in the glimpse of a moment, The dew of our minds, and the tears of our heartsWould it be too bold to suggest we hold On to eachother, for just the night?? A stalemate of love, our hearts intertwined And in the blink of an eyeReturn us to the bosom of the one we long forWith our souls knowing not why we ever left. This I truly and honestly believe!! Wonderful!!

‘Tis the Season I just wanted to wish all my friends here at FCP a truly blessed holiday season!! And here’s hoping to more good times ahead!! What a rollercoaster ride we’ve been on together, haven’t we?? But I believe that it is only as we view the earth from high above, and then come crashing down to earth, with the dualistic winds of betrayal and good cheer blowing upon our faces, that we truly understand that our lives are but a glimmer of hope, a ray of sunshine, in a dark world of destruction. Ah, but a glimpse!! And so I ask you to pause, and to consider for one brief moment the t

Truly a sparkling day, a dizzying array of love and goodwill that sends my soul down a spiral of good cheer!! Is there ever a moment more grand, and yet perplexing, as the moment when life begins on this blue-green orb?? For 28 years ago, to this very day, I emerged from the birth canal of a woman I still hold dear to my heart. This woman resisted the demons of darkness seeking to bid her harm, and she, in the ninth month of her pregnancy, delivered a baby boy that would threaten to undo all that these angels of hate had sought to accomplish!! As the Creator of the Universe looked on, his

Reading this thread reminded me of a time in my life when all was well, when the Creator of the Universe shone his smile of jubilee upon me, his paragon of perfection, and declared with a bellowing voice of majesy divine "You shall not taste the bitter salt of despair!!" Ah, but a glimpse!! Let me take you back to that moment, here tonight:Stranded in a sea of silence, my heart aches but for the sounds that will reunite my soul with my one true love!! Searching the shores of my heart, the dew of the night that so easily distracts my gaze, I came upon that glorious face, the face of the one
