You don't believe there are different levels of life? Do you put humans on the same level as dogs, ants, broccoli, bacteria, rocks? We all draw lines at what kind of life we are willing to take to survive. Most of those lines are arbitrary but I'd suspect you don't equate killing a human with killing a rabbit. I think there's an important aspect to the 2nd Amendment that hasn't been mentioned. Guns aren't only for hunting, or protection from criminals. One of the main purposes the forefathers put "the right to bear arms" into our constitution was to protect the people from their own government. If the government got out of hand, the people would have the power to rise up and change it.

Also, very true. They're really playing with words. I believe Walmart is even pushing for a change in the definition of organic. An example of how it's being exploited:Often times you'll see "80% organic!" or "80% natural ingredients!" in soaps and shampoos etc. Well 80% of shampoo is water so there...slap that label on haha.

This is where I believe factory farming does the complete opposite. Quality drastically decreases. And while you may buy extremely cheap meat now, you are paying for it one way or another. The sicker you get, the more it costs you. The sicker the US people get, the more it costs you.

This is absolutely true. I believe long term, supporting local farms or community garden/farms is imperative whether you eat meat or not. If you believe your health is paramount, then the extra cost is worth it.

Food Chain implies some sort of necessity. The way food is produced in this country is wasteful, polluting, inhumane and bad for human health. Why? It's a personal choice to distance oneself as far as possible (I know it's impossible to be completely removed) from what I believe to be inhumane and abhorrent business practices. I'm not protesting - I know my choice doesn't make a difference to them.

I believe dairy is bad for you so I don't eat it even if it does come from a small family farm. I think dairy from a factory farm is especially bad for you. I obviously like the idea of local farmers treating their animals well and producing food to be as healthy as possible.

Well according to AZ law, a button charge is very different from a rake. It is paid before any cards are dealt which means it's never part of the pot and is never wagered.
