I thought it was actually pretty boring. The last 2 hours was just all in or fold. If they're going to do that, they might as well just edit out all the non-confrontational hands. Let's see some frickin flops!!

You do see the total contradiction and irony in getting Jesus TATTOOED on your body right?

I've seen only the first few (1-4). It's annoying because like you said, they're rarely playing repeats. I think I'm just going to set my DVR to record all new episodes. Should've done that earlier but it also seems like their scheduling has been messed up a bit .

Golf or poker?

I think Mike M told Esfandiari how he folded AJ in a multi-way pot after a bunch of limping and then a semi-big raise. He was saying how good of a fold it was....but he had the best hand pre-flop and the flop came J-J-x!

I'm really rooting for Matusow to get busted by anyone.....preferably DN though. Farha talking about how much everyone was gambling and sarcastically complimenting Matusow was hilarious! The show's getting better each week.

He has a lot of re-draws which reduces your % and you also have to remember that if a non-heart/non-Q or 7 hits on the turn, you can no longer hit that heart. EX. If a 3d comes on the turn, the 3h is dead. Not technically calculated for 2 cards to come but still very relevant.....I'd get my money in with both of those hands everytime though....edit: obviously I was talking more of the J10 hand..haha

I know people use LOL a lot but seriously.....I am definitely LOL!!

Hahaha...I think they both have gelatin in them so probably neither.

Anything Chris Farley, Will Farrel, Darryl Hammond. Also, that "melded Ice-cream" skit with Natalie Portman......his name is Geeeooooorf!!

I'll re-state what I said in bold so you don't miss it. "It is generally accepted based on his writings that he became a vegetarian near the end of his life, but supported the idea for much much longer as you can see from some of his quotes." I wasn't arguing with what you said about becoming vegetarian at the end of his life. It's besides the point anyway. I gave quotes to support the fact that he became vegetarian, even if it was at the end of his life, and that at the very least, embraced the ideas. Originally, I mentioned Einstein to counter the assumption that vegetarians/vegans are a

First of all TOTAL ANIMAL LIBERATION does NOT mean no pets, no aid dogs, etc. You, and by you, I mean Pen and Teller, have wrongly extrapolated that. If you have ever read anything about PETA and their aim, you would see that they fully support the owning of pets - as long as they are cared for well. PETA's main objective is to improve the quality of life for all species. Believe me, they are not so naive as to believe they can get the entire world to stop eating meat. I'm sure they would like that to happen, but they realize it's not a realistic goal at this time. The one thing I disagr

Here is another quote from Einstein. "So I am living without fats, without meat, without fish, but am feeling quite well this way. It always seems to me that man was not born to be a carnivore." March 30, 1954 from a letter written to Hans Muehsam. It is generally accepted based on his writings that he became a vegetarian near the end of his life, but supported the idea for much much longer as you can see from some of his quotes.Da Vinci was most certainly a vegetarian. Some quotes: "As long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seeds of murder and pa

If you read my post, "famous people" was the last thing I mentioned. I mentioned them to show that not all vegetarians/vegans are hippy, loonies. Do you not distinguish between levels of life? Is a vegetable really on the same level as a human being? Not all living things are "equal". If humans were being raised for food would you have no qualms about it because you don't see a difference in the level of life. We need to eat to survive, but since it is not necessary to kill animals to live, I eat plants - in my opinion, a lower form of life. Not only that, I believe it is a more effecie

So I read through all 11 pages of this thread and I will now reply. This might be long...very long, but try to read it all because I think it will be beneficial to the debate. Also, all these personal insults detract from the discussion - let's have an intelligent argument.I was born and raised vegetarian. About 3 years ago I became vegan - I'm now 20. My reasons are health, moral, and environmental. 30 BILLION animals (including aquatic) are slaughtered each year in the United States alone. Without taking into account the people who intentionally torture them, animals are raised in horrendous

I think this will actually just come back and bite the legislators in the a**. They've taken this way too far and it will become a freedom of speech issue soon. This country and its' puritanical agenda is getting ridiculous....how do we expect to spread democracy around the rest of the world with laws like this happening in our own country!!

Playing a multi-table home game tourney with a ridiculous structure...ie all-in fest. At my table of 9, 6 of the other players were absolutely clueless. Player one raises pre-flop, player 2 goes all in. After 2 full min of thinking, player 1 folds and says, "he's just trying to buy the pot...I had him beat". Player 2 says in a sincere way,"I promise you you didn't", indicating possibly AA or KK. Player 1 then replys, "No I definitely had you beat". We asked what he had and he says with an absolutely straight face...and I'm not kidding..."I had a straight flush" PRE-FLOP!! He was dead s -
With over 100,000 in chips, deciding whether or not to call an all in, Funston calls over an official and asks...."Does a flush beat 3 of a kind?"

Matusow On .05/.10 Nl Full Tilt Right Now
KONGOS replied to SteezyDice's topic in General Poker Forum
That's the whole FTP thing...."Learn, chat and play with the pros". Occasionally you'll see Ivey playing the .10/.20 NL games too. -
I don't thinks so....the newsletter they sent out said, "the ads we couldn't pay the networks to play".

Yea, he also seems like a no bullsh** type of guy. Not a lot of talk.------------------------Funniest moment on the show was when Matusow said "I was asked, if I could be on an island with one person who would it be.....I said Daniel Negreanu, we'd have a lot of fun together..." Esfandiari replys, "Do you know how gay that just sounded!" Matusow got pretty quiet. I thought it was funny anyway...

I agree that there was a little too much dead air but I thought it was quite entertaining...and funny! We also have to remember that there are 15 episodes left and much more to come. Also, I haven't seen much of Daniel Alaei but I get the feeling he's really good

When the fish raises preflop, gets re-raised by a solid player and calls. Flop comes 4-10-10, and fish bets a small amount. Solid player moves all in (quite a big raise). Fish sits there and thinks for what seems like hours (in between phone calls) but eventually calls the bet and flips over 22. Now some may think, not a terrible call if he has a good read and thinks this player would make that kind of play with AK or AQ...fine. But the fish then says, after losing the pot, "I put you on an over pair, I just didn't think AA". -
This will help....from DN's blog May 19:"Barry agreed to give me a stroke a hole, and Doyle gave me five a side. We all played from the white tees except for Doyle. Doyle plays from the red tees and also has a few other stipulations to make things fair. On his second shot, Doyle can tee it up from anywhere. Also, since he has a bad hip, he doesn't have to hit out of the sand. Instead, he drops behind the sand, no closer to the pin."

I've rarely seen him in a wheelchair...he usually just has a cane doesn't he? Plus, they have carts...so there's hardly any walking.
