I didn't say "I understand now", I said "I guess I didn't full understand"... hence the question. I should've probably said "don't" instead of "didn't" to make clear what tense I was speaking in. Anyways, I read more about it last night and feel I now have a much better understanding of running it multiple times. So thanks to those who wrote helpfull explanations.

You just made that up didn't you? jkI concede. I guess I didn't fully understand the theory and math behind it so I appreciate the explanation. I could've saved a lot of fuc*ing money in the last couple days running it 2 or 3 times. Question now....Is there a threshold with regards to "% favorite" where running it 3 times would be more profitable in the long run? For example, if you were a 3:2 favorite, would running it 3 times be more profitable than running it twice? Or if you were in a situation like the OP's, does running it twice make more sense than running it thrice?PS: Try not t

I would have to strongly disagree. Running it twice in situations like this also drastically minimizes your big wins....potentially. If the OP had KK it would be a different story.

What do you mean "no"? He's drawing to 8.59%

He's drawing to roughly 9%...that is a terrible time to run it twice.

http://www.tmz.com/2006/07/28/gibsons-anti...leged-cover-up/Some quotes....--Once inside the car, a source directly connected with the case says Gibson began banging himself against the seat. The report says Gibson told the deputy, "You mother f****r. I'm going to f*** you." The report also says "Gibson almost continually [sic] threatened me saying he 'owns Malibu' and will spend all of his money to 'get even' with me."The report says Gibson then launched into a barrage of anti-Semitic statements: "F*****g Jews... The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." Gibson then asked the d

Official Daniel Fooled Me Initially Thread
KONGOS replied to Kid DynOmite's topic in General Poker Forum
He started the blog by saying there's no way he's going to be able to play the ME because of some commitments he made before he realized how long the ME would take.....like signing autographs at some store etc. -

The final table thing is kinda corny, but that's Hollywood. My question is, why in the hell would they put it in the trailer!! That just pissed me off immensely. I'd much rather see the story of Chip Reese (the "Circuit" interview - one of the best I've heard) or Doyle Brunson or DN but it looks like it'll be pretty good.

I've played a lot of variations of Stud Hi/Lo, from "8 or better" to "A-6 declare" to "pair no pair" cards speak etc, but I was reading one of DN's blog today and saw that they were playing "Stud hi/lo regular" which meant that there was no qualifier for a hi or low hand. Wouldn't pots be split so much more than usual making it kinda pointless? For example, if Player A had a full house and Player B had trips or two pair, does Player A take the high and Player B take the low? I'm probably just misunderstanding the details of the game so any clarifications would help. Also I've read the Hi/lo

I've already compiled my list of players at the final table....

Re-read your post and I think the answer is pretty obvious. A noticeably tight player raises UTG and you move all in with A3....not a good move, especially with $3500 left.
-
Yea...I didn't see how it was inappropriate either. He wasn't slowrolling, so all he was doing was trying to disguise his hand
-
Player 3 must have been totally asleep if he didn't speak up until Player 1 mucked his cards AND the pot had already been pushed to him. Everyone should've payed more attention and I think the floor probably did the only fair thing.

Yea...he counts his profit every time he's in a hand! I guess I would too though if it was one of the biggest if not the biggest game I've ever played.

Dude....Playing $1000 - $2000 tourneys are not EV for him and probably most big pros. In the time it takes to finish a tourney and win it (if they wade through a field of 800+ people), they could've made double the 1st place prize playing a cash game. The bracelet is what matters in the smaller WSOP events....or at least used to. Now I think 48 times was probably a little excessive but re-buying a crap load of times can be a good strategy if you have the bankroll for it - which DN has. His 2004 result speaks for itself.

In the time it took you to type this long of a post on an internet forum, you could've already booked your ticket to Tanzania.Oh, and Bill Gates' annual income could stake most pros for their entire lives, so what is the point of your post? Everything is relative.

hahaha..best one yet.

Jesus, that looks like a lot of fun!!

The ACLU stands for American Civil Liberties Union. They stick up for free speech and American citizen's civil liberties no matter what side of the political fence it means taking. It's amazing how they just can't win with some people because FOX News and other right wing propaganda has relentlessly hammered in how "evil" they are. Obviously the funeral protests are pretty disgusting, but they're not illegal. Therefore, the ACLU will defend their right to do so. They defend gays, blacks, jews, mexicans, as well as gay-bashers, racists, anti-semetics etc. I think they deserve a little mor

You have to claim $10,000 or more...edit: International flights that is...The penalty for not doing so is a jail sentence of up to five years, a $250,000 fine, and government confiscation of the money that you tried to smuggle out.

Aren't the pros eligible to win the extra $10million if they qualify through FT and win? If they are, that would be a major enticement. If they aren't eligible....flame away....
