  1. Yeah I am still here. I did put my notice in but he is letting me work till we get the call to go to Korea. Was supposed to be this month but now it is looking like Feb and possibly March. So my boss said he would hold off a bit on bringing someone new in. I would like to just leave but we will take all the money we can save.
  2. BG is a believer. So that interests me more because I am...more a non believer I guess. I guess I am in the middle these days whereas years back I might have been Randy so I don't necessarily need to ask Randy. Spade scares me so I just ignore that. But I just find it interesting and I read a lot of this forum and think about it to myself because I understand my limits and don't want to post looking too much like a fool. I fail at that sometimes though. Yeah, what a douche that dick is.
  3. lolGO ZACH!I love this whole FCHL vs AHL pissing match. It's awesome... Just like the FCHL.
  4. Oh. I don't think I have seen that movie. Carry on.
  5. OK I will keep playing along for Brv's entertainment. It's like the hook shot joke, it just doesn't make sense to me. Faith doesn't equal concrete proof. It's just a strong belief in something. I have a strong belief that the Wings will win tonight but that won't make it so. Thus if speedz decides to strongly believe there is a heaven it won't just make it so. None of us will know regardless of our faith until we die who is right and who is wrong. I guess my other issue is why do some people care so much what other people think. I don't know what I think yet. BG seems to have his belief and th
  6. Ok.Yeah, I still don't get it. Maybe I do but I won't say unless I am wrong since that will just make me look even more stupid.
  7. I don't get the question. The only time he can find out if he is wrong is when he dies. And once you're dead there isn't much you can do about it. Are you implying that if he starts to have faith today that that will somehow change what happens when he dies?
  8. I don't know if douche is the right word but I am sure there is a better negative word that would fit me. But sorry, I can't watch all 162 televised Tigers games. I just can't. 100? Maybe, but I do want to go out once in awhile in the summer at night. I don't understand this.
  9. You know there are some similarities there. My wife does have an obsession with Jepoardy. She never got on though but has been on the short list to wait for a call a couple seasons ago. But the main difference is that my wife doesn't act like a fancy schmancy writer who seems to know everything. She is pretty low key on that. I think the self loathing helps in that regard. Ha. She is a simple woman who enjoys reading and loves to watch football on Sundays. I can't complain much about that. The main complaint I would have is her love of baseball is a little excessive. I can't watch EVERY game a
  10. Oh yeah, plenty if you are good at it. The things she writes now got her company over $50M last year. She also does freelance writing for a 3 magazines. They pay her like $550 for 1500 words that takes her an hour to maybe and hour and a half to write. Writing is a good gig if you are good at it. She has the ability to write about things she really knows nothing about. When I started dating her she was writing articles for a bowling magazine and some spot work for a NASCAR magazine. She still to this day doesn't know much about either "sport". We rent. The next house we buy will be in a diffe
  11. You used to be able to do that. i know that I would set my 5 guys that I had when we had the fchl thing last year.Edit: choose the Enhanced Leaderboard
  12. Writer. Right now she works for a large hospital in Michigan writing grants and proposals for their foundation.
  13. Seriously you should just do what I did. I married a successful sugar momma. I sit at my crappy job making crappy money while the numerous business' in Michigan fight over who will pay my wife more for what she can do. It's pretty awesome. Really helps with that terrible feeling of not being somebody.
  14. I find it odd that you like lululemon so much. I personally would never buy a thing from them. I am not one to boycott stuff but lululemon I believe deserves to be boycotted because of well, so much. You are aware of how they came up with the name, right?
  15. Oh I think he deserves it. Best all around player in my opinion, even better defensively than Toews (I have a man crush on Toews so I am not trolling). But I just don't see him getting the votes. I guess we'll see. I def want you to be right and me to be wrong.
  16. Pavs never scores enough points to be considered. He has had much better years than this and has barely gotten any votes.
  17. I think Giroux gets some consideration as well. I don't think Malkin is the lock. But one of 2 or 3 that deserve votes.
  18. Probably should just take hitting completely out of the game at this point. I am not trying to be a dick but it seems that either players are faster and stronger yet more fragile these days and at this point, any hit can cause a serious and possibly career ending injury. At this rate, body checks might just be suspendable 5 years down the road.
  19. If he got suspended again that tells me that the money isn't that big of a deterrent. If you say that is because the real hit to the wallet happens on the 2nd suspension then maybe it would be smarter to just make that hit to the wallet begin on your first suspension. But it seems to me that repeat offenders don't care about money or missed games. But maybe a year out would? I don't know but it seems to me that NHL players treat suspensions like high schooler's treat detention.
  20. I understand life is unfair but it just seems to me that it has gotten worse to the point where I can't stop being angry about it while watching the game which makes watching the game not as fun as it should be. I agree in regards to the suspensions. I pretty much have stayed out of those discussions because I simply don't care. There seems to be little consistency with those things as well so no need to worry about it. Plus Wings players hardly ever get suspensions so it isn't something I ever need to really concern myself with.My issue might also be the by product of now having 3 solid playo
  21. http://tv.yahoo.com/news/toddlers-cuss-wor...-024407751.htmlOK so this anti-profanity group wants to take down ABC and Modern Family because of this new episode where profanity is NOT even used? That makes a whole lot of sense. Some people need better hobbies.
  22. I gotta say, this season in sports, between football, hockey, and baseball, I have really started to sour on sports for the simple reason that I am getting tired of there being 3 teams competing. The two teams plus the refs. Maybe I am hitting that age where things that used to not bother me now do but refs really have started to ruin the experience of watching sports for me as of late. There really is no solution to the problem unless someone can actually build some awesome super computer that can scan a game and make calls but I don't believe that would end being full proof either. I mean, j
  23. Yeah, I don't think I have ever lived better in my entire life. His father was the head of the SE Asia division of a very large corporation so they put him and his family up in one of the nicest places in Tokyo. I am only going by what we were told one day by the two people who came over to fix our broken fax machine one day, but they said that the head of Toyota could barely afford to live in the place we were living. Which when two 23 year olds hear that we think it is pretty cool. The place had 5 bedrooms. Each bedroom had it's own private balcony, mine faced the city and the Tokyo Tower wa
