Thanks for all the feedback (positive and negative), I'll be sure to pass it on.It looks like I will be buying him those beers as there appear to be no restrictions in taking non-electronic devices to the casino tables.The consensus appears to be that most serious players would not object to strategy cards being used (infact would be quite encouraging of their use). I appreciate that this opinion is biased by the serious players who read this forum, but I wonder how the less serious players would think who think that, for instance, pocket 3's is a great hand to open with on a large table.Anyw

  4. Sorry about the Spam.Yes, I see your point. If someone is staring at the card all the time, they are less likely to be paying attention to the rest of the activity at the table.
  5. A good friend of mine, who's a bit or a rocket scientist, is just about to setup a business selling a set of (very cool) Texas Hold'em strategy cards. He's used computers to simulate hundreds of millions of hands of poker to find out what are the best hands to hold depending on the number of people who are in the pot (as the odds change). He's had these cards printed on some really sweet plastic stock poker sized cards.
