  1. The hand was Jd Kd for the flush. The hand makes perfect sense for villiain. Unfortunately, so did some other hands that I could have beaten, and besides calling pf I think the hand kind of played out itself. That's poker. My question: What hands are you looking to call with then, if you are folding AQ?
  2. if i had a dime for every time i one of these pops up...good points though
  3. This smells like JJ or QQAccording to a medium strength TAG w/ JJ or QQ (not saying this is correct thinking)-Raise before the flop with a good hand, and just call the reraise to make sure the flop is safe.-Good flop, we are either way ahead or way behind. Check to possibly pick off a bluff or lose the minimum if we are chasing AA or KK-Turn hurts us, AK just moved ahead of us-River puts two pair on the board. We have a bigger two pair, and we could be payed off by AQ or another A high hand. We value bet.At the same time, AK makes a whole lot of sense.-Raise before the flop, just call the r
  4. Nothing like having an M of 300 or so.Such a good feeling.
  5. I definitely think my mistake was PF, I should either have reraised big and try to squeeze everyone or folded and avoided a tricky situation. On the flop I'm thinking I should of bet more to price out draws and define the hand better. BTW, can you guess what villian's hand was?
  6. I agree w/ Cobalt, you have to play this more aggressively earlier in the hand. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can beat here. Fold and move on.
  7. Loose table. Villian 1(700) is LAG. Villian 2(710) is TAG. Hero(660) has a TAG image, and is button7 players, blinds 5-10Hand: Ac QdAction:UTG raises to 35, Villian 1 calls, Villian 2 calls, MP 1 calls, Hero calls, SB calls, BB calls.(This is the first family pot of the night).Pot:245 Flop Ad 2d 3hAction: Everyone checks to hero, hero bets 200, Villian 1 calls, Villian 2 calls.Pot:845Turn: Ad 2d 3h (9d)Action: Villian 1 checks, Villian 2 bets 150, Hero calls, Villian 1 foldsPot: 1145River: Ad 2d 3h (9d) (As)Action: Villian 2 bets 200 (leaving himself with 185), Hero....?????I think it is pr
  8. Just out of curiosity, which program are you using to calculate all this?
  9. How do you discount AA or KK. Many players raise w/ AA or KK, then simply call the reraise ( w/ AA, trying to trap, w/ KK, they want to make sure the flop doesn't have an ace before getting it all in).Flop looks dangerous, they push.Put AA and KK in the mix, and our equity can't be 35%
  10. what could his range possibly be to give u 35% equity?ur up against AA, KK, OESFD, set (9's or 10's most likely), or pair+flush draw. only hand you're hoping to see is JJ. He's not been out of line yet, and it is less likely he's pushing w/ TPTK or flush draw. I'm folding and putting my money in better.
  11. ideas never have gone over well in general, unless done by someone with 1,000+ posts.Even that's not enough sometimes.
  12. home game: blinds $5-$10, 8 handed, villian, MP3, button and me both have $700. No read on all players except MP3, who is weak tight.Hand: QhQs (cutoff)Action: UTG calls, MP3 calls, Hero Raises to $50, button calls, blinds fold, UTG calls, MP3 calls.Flop (4 handed, pot is 215)8c 3h 4s Action: UTG checks, MP3 checks, Hero bets 150, button folds, UTG raises to 300, MP3 folds, Hero calls.Turn (2 handed, pot is 815, stacks are each 350)8c 3h 4s (7d)Action: UTG pushes all in for 350, Hero calls.Questions:1. How do you like the way I played the hand?2. Mistakes?

  14. come on man, thanksgiving dinner on 2nd date? Hell I don't do that type of stuff on the 20th date. You said you don't really like this girl that much, so it just doesn't make sense. May God help your soul, especially if you do bang her, because she may start to get attached to you.Good luck either way.
  15. chgocubsfan: what did u have when u checkraised blur all in on the Ac 9c Kd flopedit: very nicely done
  16. What odds are you gonna lay me to take this bet. They better be good, considering this guy wanted to take her to dinner with wine and a movie on the first date...
  17. your plan has wussy written allroyal tour has got the right idea. drinks>dinner on first date.come back over your house for wine.that is all.
  18. C, without a question. Accomplishes what A and B would, and you end up getting some too.
  19. If there is a coordinated board, I find the LAG's will sometimes fire on the end to take down the pot if a draw gets there (to represent the draw). Also, if they think you were drawing, they will fire if the draw doesn't get there and they think you will fold. On an uncordinated board, if you have been calling their bets on flop and turn, then less of a chance they will fire on river.
  20. The one thing I tend to do when playing small ball in a cash game is to get carried away.Just as important as taking down small pots is not losing a lot of money on a small pot.
  21. I play in a small underground (actually is underground) casino outside of Philly. Great atmosphere, loads of players loose as ****, and the guy running it makes a fortune.Biggest upside: LIVE PLAY! Lots of fish.Biggest downside: Tipping dealer and large rake.
  22. Double click on the tournament number, it takes u to that tournament lobby.
