  1. 100 NL on BodogHero - $100 (UTG) Kc KhSB - $27BB - $225preflopHero raises to $3.50, SB calls, BB callsFlop($10.50) - 6h Qd 5d SB bets 6.75, BB calls, Hero raises to $16, SB calls, BB callsTurn($57.50) 3hSB checks, BB checks, Hero goes all in for $78, SB calls $8 all in, BB foldsSB shows QcJc, Hero wins $71.50My question is this: Assuming you think you have the best hand on the turn and assuming the BB is on a draw, is it better to go all in and be happy taking down a $57 pot, or to bet 3/4s to pot sized bet getting the BB to chase incorrectly with his possible draw. I know Sklansky's fundame
  2. I assume you just smooth called on flop with the intention of deceiving your opponent into giving you more money. But only good things can come from raising this flop. One of three things will happen: 1) villain comes back over the top assuming his over pair is good 2) villain calls and you've now built up a big pot where you can put in a nice sized value bet on the turn, or the most unlikely scenario 3) villain just flat out folds, in which case you at least take down a decent sized pot risk free
  3. maybe you're not playing at the right hours. I've played at all the major sites. Sure, its no Pacific or anything, but its way jucier than it was 3 or 4 months ago
  4. would've liked your initial reraise to be to at least $55, would've made it easier to get it all in on the flop. Reraising your last $77 isn't bad, but it screams of extreme strength. You're in position and there aren't really any scary turn cards, I probably would've just smooth called villain's reraise. On the turn either he bets and you put the rest in or he checks and he calls your all in feeling pot committed.
  5. I'm guessing someone with a 39 VPIP is pretty donkish and would probably think the best move would be to slow play the set. The standard move when a lot of donks flop a set out of position is to check/call the flop and then check/raise the turn. With that said, I'm not folding my set of 5s on the river, you can see two pair here too often.
  6. Anyone else notice that Full Tilt has gotten extremely juicy lately?
  7. don't know if they clear concurrently. I know when i deposit on Bodog my rakebreak account usually shows negative MGR
  8. that's weird, because i get Bodog rakeback through Rakebreak.
  9. Don't like the reraise OOP. As played I probably put that big bet in on the turn to try to get him off any draw he may have. If he calls with his middle pair, I just give up on the river. If he's on a draw and bad enough to call a big turn bet with one card to come then he can have my money. These sort of players are hard to bluff off of hands. I prefer to just wait for a big hand against them and let them pay me off on each street.
  10. i'm in the process of trying to clear their sign up bonus. It seems like for every big pot i win off a fish I take about 5 bad beats. Talk about a high variance site. Anyone else have this experience with the players on this site? I imagine when things are going your way it could be extremely profitable, but man, when they're not, it could really give someone a heart condition.
  11. bet and stack sizes are approximate. villain and his buddies sat down about 45 minutes ago. Seem to be tourney donks, reraising preflop with middle pairs, calling with any two paint cards.Stacks:Hero(UTG) : 170 Villain(UTG+1) 190Hero has AhAchero raises to 15, villain calls, everyone else folds.Flop($35)As 8s 3shero bets 25, villain calls without much thoughtTurn($85)7swhats your line here? bet and see where we're at? check and hope for a cheap river?
  12. I play a lot of full ring where i like to limp with medium pairs. I guess I could've raised to isolate. Q 10 is what I was thinking after he c/rs. Maybe I could've raised more on the flop, but I wanted to make some money off my set. Also, he didn't bet the flop, he called, which makes Q 10 even more likely.

  14. Can someone explain how to use the FTR hand converter for FCP hand histories. I can't seem to figure out how it works.
