  2. To make Main Event Final TableSource: Blue Square.com(66 means 66:1)By most to least likely (alphabetical below)Reese, Chip 66 Negreanu, D 66 Seidel, Eric 66 Vaswani, Ram 66 Chiu, David 66 Nguyen, Men 66 Nguyen, Scotty 66 Ivey, Phil 66 Luske, Marcel
  3. NLHE S&GBlinds 100/200 no ante8 players remainPlayer A $2000 in chips limps from midposition. All fold to me on button stack also $2000 makes it $600 to go.SB & BB fold, limper calls.Flop AxxPlayer A continuation bet $600Hero raises all-in $1400.Player A calls shows AK, takes pot.I don't think I call here, that leaves me pot committed (All-in by player A gives me 5:1 to call)So reraise or fold. How do I get away from this? Is it possible?
  4. I play low-limit S&G's.Been involved in this situation multiple times: Initial limper from midposition. I have AQ or AJs on or near button. Raise. Called. Flop Axx. Bust out to AK. How do I defend against this? Do I just have to pay this off? Particularly at the low levels I play at, there are so many other hands I could be up against here like weak A, mid-pair, flush/straight draws, or pp.
  5. I think he hit a set and you made a great laydown. If he had KK or QQ he probably would have re-raised before the flop. More likely he had 22, 33, or 66.Why not cold call with the set post-flop with no straight or flush draws on the board. And you still have $1170 in chips. Live to fight another day.So I would have layed it down. Then again I'm tight-weak.
  6. Say for the sake of argument I had 30K instead of 3K. My reasoning is if I get 3.5:1 I should call with the 8-3, but at 2.5:1 I should fold.Is that logic right or wrong? Thanks again for everyone's response.
  7. MTT, blinds 200/400.I am BB with around 3K holding 3 8 Folds to Button, who raises to $800, leaving him $500.SB foldsSo $1400 in pot getting 3.5:1 to call. But he's pot-committed since he only has $500 left, so really it's like 2.5:1 to call. ($1900 in pot, $900 to call if he raises all-in to $1300)So since it's 2.5:1, I folded. Was this right or wrong?
