  2. Thanks all for the input. I was thinking of PT but want to try something on my own for now, anyways.I also wanted to find out what details you guys look for in your own play (i.e. holes in your game) and how to analyze to fix the problems.
PT will tell you all of this.
  3. I just wanted to hear from somebody what there take on all of the different limits online is. In under a year I have played from .50-1 to 3-6, each limit in between. I don't know if it is just me or what but the change in skill does not drastically increase or decrease between any limit. But here is my run down.50-1 More Passive players1-2 More Agressive players that think they are the ****.2-4 Weaker players, looser, and will call down with A-rag3-6 Just as loose as 2-4 if not looser, no noticeable change in skill. What can I expect from 5-10, 8-16 and 10-20?Teddy

  4. I haven't read the other responses but I will give you my story of how I built my bankroll...I used to be a NL player and I played at the casino's in LA mostly 1/2 and 2/5 but I paid for these buy ins with cash that I had in my checking account so I really didnt have a strict bankroll, a way of keeping track of losses or wins.So I decided to get extremely disciplined and also chage gears. I changed my game to LHE and moved online. In July of last year I deposited 100 on PP (with the intention of putting 200 more if I lost it all) and played .50/1 HE.By late August I had won about 550 and I decided to jump 1/2 Limit. This level took me longer, I decided to play the 6max tables (multi tabling). Anyway, in Early January I found out about the FT 100% deposit bonus. At that time I had 770 dollars on PP, so I cashed out all of it, and put 470 on FT (30 dollars to epassporte to get the money in there) Since then I have moved up to 2/4, I am 70 dollars away from moving up to 3/6. I have kept a very rigid BR Regiment, never playing anything outside of my roll. the only 2 games I play are HE and Omaha. I suggest that if you want to build a big bankroll, stick to your discipline and don't try to get too creative. The money will come, but its crafting yourself into a consistent player that is important. My goal is to take this initial 100 deposit that I made in July, and by this july be playing 10/20 LHE.wish me luck and good luck to you too...knock on woodTeddyEDIT: forgot about your questions: 1. How much would you start with?Whatever you feel comfortable losing 2. How would you determine this amount?300 X the Big bet of the LHE game or 1000 X the big blind of the NL game 3. What stakes would you start at?Up to you 4. How many tables would you play at once?If its your first time online, play 1. after about a month move up and then so on. I play 4 Short handed tables. 5. If you lose say, 100bb, would you deposit that amount back into your account? No, drop down a level if you are uncomfortable playing with a smaller roll. Once you cannot handle that level if you lose more, drop down. 6. At what point would you move up? How about down?when I had 300BB of the next level, when I lost 250BB 7. If you pull a nice profit, would you cash any out?No....thats not my mission, eventualyl yes 8. During all of this, how do you maintain focus?I enjoy playing, if I don't have fun I don't play 9. How do you control a bankroll for SnGs and tourneys?I forget, I think its around 35-40 buy ins.
