  1. It's so funny because I've been so close to punching my laptop soooo.... many times. If I had, I could definitely imagine a downward spiral like this one. Oh yeah... I've tilted off this much money before. I can relate. However, I think that I've learned from those experiences. Almost always when I tilted big, I was playing outside my bankroll. Now I play much smaller than my bankroll allows and it laugh at the donk plays that cost me money. I can't wait for those calls/bets the next time cause I know that based on the principal of EV, I actually made money on the hand, I just haven't collected yet.
    Very well said :club:
  2. Now this has got me thinking...Why do you have so much in the epassporte account?I have never had more then 500 in there so I guess you are just trying to deposit about 5K into a poker site, but do some people keep there Bankrolls on the money transfering sites instead of the card room? Is this a better idea, I just keep my entire bankroll on FT.Thanks,Matt

  3. You'll love it. One of the best non-strategy poker books available.
Have you read Positively Fifth Street? That book is a great non strat book. Also, the obvious, Professor, Banker and Suicide King.
  4. i just logged back into party and they said i had 50$ for me...claimed it, playing some LHE till i can cash out then gonzo
nice...I am debating on what to do with my 75...I play 3-6 LHE in FT exclusively but I actually wanted to move back over to PP...I might just take it to a NL table and try to run it up as high as I can...orplay some .50-1 and try to build another roll on PP like I did from FT
  5. those beats suck.you need to take a break. if you play everyday, take a 1/2 day off. if you play less take a whole day off.
Good advice...sometime I even take more than that off...just to clear my head of the beats and the feeling that I have to recoup the losses that I just incurred, you need to come to the table feeling ready to play and not care if you take another loss...not to play catchup.
