Very well saidIt's so funny because I've been so close to punching my laptop soooo.... many times. If I had, I could definitely imagine a downward spiral like this one. Oh yeah... I've tilted off this much money before. I can relate. However, I think that I've learned from those experiences. Almost always when I tilted big, I was playing outside my bankroll. Now I play much smaller than my bankroll allows and it laugh at the donk plays that cost me money. I can't wait for those calls/bets the next time cause I know that based on the principal of EV, I actually made money on the hand, I just haven't collected yet.

Now this has got me thinking...Why do you have so much in the epassporte account?I have never had more then 500 in there so I guess you are just trying to deposit about 5K into a poker site, but do some people keep there Bankrolls on the money transfering sites instead of the card room? Is this a better idea, I just keep my entire bankroll on FT.Thanks,Matt

Have you read Positively Fifth Street? That book is a great non strat book. Also, the obvious, Professor, Banker and Suicide King. You'll love it. One of the best non-strategy poker books available. -
that sucks man, I have never had a problem with them...They are all I use

Tourneys are for suckers.Good LuckSmash.J/K...lol...but I strictly play in cash games, I just don't see a point to playing the large MTT's where I have to sift through the donks for 4 hours, survive countless all in's and coinflips, and generally play perfect poker to see any sort of reasonable return.

LOL...true, I should have been more detailed in my explanation...I deposited 100 on PP...ran that up to 1,000 and then took that over to FT. Sorry for the confusionWTF? I thought you said in your OP that you took $1000 from PP over to FT? Nobody likes a liar

nice...I am debating on what to do with my 75...I play 3-6 LHE in FT exclusively but I actually wanted to move back over to PP...I might just take it to a NL table and try to run it up as high as I can...orplay some .50-1 and try to build another roll on PP like I did from FTi just logged back into party and they said i had 50$ for me...claimed it, playing some LHE till i can cash out then gonzo -
oh.k.

Free money is always nice! In order to get some of my rake, Party Poker decided to give me 75 dollars...In January I took out 1,000 and moved it over to FT....haven't been back since, so today I got an email from them saying that I just got a free 75 dollars...Anyone else get this?

Or in other words...the fundamental theorum of pokerIf your opponent told you what he had preflop during all of those situations, would u deny him the chance to get it all in preflop? We love these situations -

That will be my defining event of who the best is...

I would suggest the 10% of the pot up to 5 dollars(you would hardly ever get to a 5 dollar rake) but that % is pretty much the standard for all home games.

Good advice...sometime I even take more than that off...just to clear my head of the beats and the feeling that I have to recoup the losses that I just incurred, you need to come to the table feeling ready to play and not care if you take another loss...not to play catchup.those beats suck.you need to take a break. if you play everyday, take a 1/2 day off. if you play less take a whole day off.
