Well at least Ellis is. Cowen seems like a decent offensive threat from reading the scouting reports.

The Red Storm have just selected Jared Cowen, D from Ottawa. The Storm are happy that we could get two fine young offensive-minded defensemen in the 1st round.

Lack of preparedness + need for decent offensive defenseman = meh pick.

FCHL2 draft begins tomorrow, should be fun. I had the #3 pick, but traded for #7 and #10 to try to start building a good farm team.
