hey daniel,haven't heard you talk much about cash games recently, just your flying around to big tournaments. is that what you primarily do now? i remember you were really focusing in on HU online play before black friday, and just grinding to improve your game. are you still in that mode now? how high is getting better at poker on your life priority list at the moment?

has anyone .... NOT thought of this? i've probably been in 10 separate discussions about this idea the week following the legislation anouncement. you're pretty slow on the uptake.

if i was playing to pay my bills, then it might slightly deter me. but as it is, i play for fun so i would definitely want a chance to play against the pros.

i used this strategy clearing 900 hands at PP, 10 tabling. ended about even. anyone wanna see stats/graph?

my intial thought was fold. then it was, wait, these players are sharing aces, call! then it was wait, is my hand even a favorite against 2 aces?i decided the answer was fold before i ran my simulation.29% favorite against two AA hands, i didn't randomize the xx but i made one pretty strong and one very strong.since we are essentially putting in our last 2400 for a 9000 pot, we need to win 26.6% of the time. so... call!

he bet and called a check raise, then called the turn bet. this = strength? or at least, strength that would value bet a river?

YES IT IS. in fact, if i get aces every hand and push preflop every hand with a 1,000,000x BB for a bankroll and continue to do this for an infinite number of hands, I WILL GO BROKE. do you know why? because there is NEVER a 0% probability of losing the next 10,000,000 hands in a row. even if its a 0.1^100^100^100 chance that i will lose the next round of consecutive hands until i go broke, this will occur in the span of an infinite number of hands.
