  1. how about katja seriously never miss a hand vs me. she's 6/6 against me flipping and as a huge dog. ITM at least, 20.5k-ish. all 40k of katja's should be mine, honestly.
  2. they're both bad, tbh. i've had katja all in good 2x and she's doinked her way out both times, and vicky just has big boobs that i'm pretty sure get in the way of her brain.11,555 after an hour of horrendous beats.
  3. ffs. 3x in 20 min i've lost on the end to bad play for a top 5 stack.PokerStars Game #32620950664: Tournament #200909015, $300+$20 USD Badugi Limit - Level XVI (700/1400) - 2009/09/08 20:29:38 MT [2009/09/08 22:29:38 ET]Table '200909015 23' 8-max Seat #5 is the buttonSeat 1: Vicky Coren (3300 in chips) Seat 2: djs909090 (14535 in chips) Seat 3: bmw68 (21130 in chips) Seat 4: TommyE79 (6740 in chips) Seat 5: Slender009 (30695 in chips) Seat 6: steggen75 (60905 in chips) Seat 7: Katja Thater (17470 in chips) Seat 8: checkymcfold (21195 in chips) steggen75: posts small blind 350Katja Thater: post

    Dear Ouch 8-s

sal, the most important thing to start with when looking for a new computer is getting together a good list of what exactly you need the thing to do. that way, you can find something that suits your needs without paying for overkill in any area. beyond stuff like microsoft office, what are you planning to use the thing for?in any case, i sincerely doubt that you'll need to go anywhere near 800 bucks for computers that are just as powerful as what you're looking at with those links.take a look at this list, for instance:http://dealnews.com/Weekend-Laptop-Roundup...ore/317736.html
  13. thesis statements drawn out by a third party interpretation do not an argument make, kiddo. it's not as though he doesn't give reasons for saying the things i happened to quote above--the article is four pages of online type and probably upwards of 5000 words. i can create lists of warring theses all day long, but there's no helpful conclusions to come of that practice. it's the arguments that defend those theses that actually lead us somewhere. again, if you actually read the article, you would realize that the two points you're misinterpreting (i'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say
  14. well, not to sound facetious, but if your villains did what they should, you probably should game select better .
  15. more like 10%, tops, imo. the thing is that probably 90% of your opponents through 2/4 or 3/6 are just never, ever, ever going to bet/fold any street of any hand, really, unless you table select badly and end up at one filled with 2p2 breakeven grinders.you have to remember, too, that there are not a lot of hands that raise/call pre, c/c that sort of flop, then bet the river. i'm not sure what range that you think you're bluffing against, really. like K9/KJ//J9?
  16. fwiw, i instasupertotally shut down after one postflop bullet against like 90% of opponents. the only other line i would take is bet/fold, bet/fold, bet/fold, and that would be against people that are going to turn raise any 2p combo or AQ and be able to fold a king somewheres.
  17. it doesn't really surprise me that no one's responding to the actual article, tbh.
  18. fwiw, i'm referring to the legal arguments he's making (explicitly, the refutation in appendix C of the woos' justification for torture), not saying the guy was the best man that ever lived. if you actually read the book, maybe 2% of the stuff he says is some sort of anecdotal-whatever coming out of his own life, and the remainder is strongly sourced, legal analysis. although he does briefly argue that nixon was a bit of a twatbag, the primary villains of his narrative are actually newt gingrich and dick cheney.it's fairly important to learn how to judge an author differently from his/her argu
  19. "get your homework done, and don’t spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox. "that's it. i'm running back to glenn beck, who doesn't need the president to tell him how to spell oligarchy.pot odds, your "history" of how politics became attack politics is somewhat backwards, imo. i suggest you that read broken government, by john dean (a top ranking nixon advisor), a book on precisely this subject that reaches the precisely opposite conclusion.
  20. rollercoastering the bejesus out of the minbet. 5k to 7k to 5k to 8.5k to 5400 at break. meh. table's pretty soft, at least.
