  1. Don't use any stat tracker when I play and multi-tabling so no reads on player.I would think if someone hit a set here they wouldn't shove like this. 2. Thanks for everyone's view. I re-raised the turn when he bet small. So either I'm very behind or way ahead here. I really don't think AJ makes this move here on the river. I would have taken the line as well if I was villian of leading harder on the turn or c/c as well and call any non threating river hoping that I was on a bluff. I actually laid this hand down. I thought I was beat, but it was strange to me because he never re-raised which most people would do on the turn if they set-up. The tricky part was that he bet such a small amount on the river I wasn't sure if he was thinking I was go
  3. I bet a little higher on the flop to price out a flush draw. Just sat down so no read on villian. Weird line by player maybe flopped a striaght, or turned a set on me. Maybe even had kk aa What's your play on the river? 4. For me personally it's not a matter of being scared, it's just a matter of being aware of your opponent and how he plays with a stack that more than 100 times the bb. Goes for the same on how a player with a smaller stack plays the rest of the chips. Is he tight when he's deep or is he loose with it. And you are right when you said just some minor stratetegy adjustments and he does become an ATM. But your point is well taken. Another thing to consider he isn't correct to call with A10 but he called with 4,6o in the bb which is an incorrect call to make either way. But I would rather have 4-6 a
  5. Yah I agree...I pretty much played this like a donkey. I probably would have stack the guy since he had AK. I decided to get pretty with it for some reason. Wild hair up my ass or something. Honest answers are always good. For the record I usually bet out since most players always think you would never bet out a monster on the flop. A little higher re-raise you could build a case for. I think it was enough that I wanted a call, but was a donkey on the flop. I carry a decent post flop game so I'm not too worried about it although I should have bet a little more pre-flop to get value out of it.
  6. Thanks for all the input....Villian actually turned another 6 on me.So I guess in a way I saved a little money. For sure if I bet the turn he re-raises me and I'm put in a tuff spot to call or fold. If I call I'm forced to call the river depending on his bet. If he smooth calls and bets into me I'm forced into the same thing. I definitly don't shove here being it was a bb call.I probably should have bet the turn and see how things unfolded. Since this is a BB call from a deeper stack I definitley don't want to overplay my hand since it's a different situation when you get a call from someone i
  7. Okay 2 scenarios if I continuation bet the turn1) your play on a check raise by villian??2) a smooth call on the turn and bet into you on the river??
  8. Okay other than the fact that I decided to slow play myself into a disaster this particular hand with a possible straight and flush out there is the betting on the turn and the river the right bets.I couldn't really put my player on hitting but I didn't want to bet big and put myself in a tough decision. Maybe I could have bet more than 10 on the river. Maybe half the pot.Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.25/$0.509 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $53.05UTG+1: $53.60Hero: $55.40MP2: $55.40MP3: $32.15CO: $49Button: $50.05SB: $40.90BB: $70Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP1 with
  9. River Call???Okay villian is deeply stack and I'm not sure how he acquired it all. I realize after reviewing this hand I should have raised more pre-flop to maybe 4 -6 to make it a bad call if he chooses to play. Any two cards are good if he can flop a monster on me if I have a big hand. From watching him since I just sat down he's calling raises to snap people off since he is deeply stack which makes sense. What's your play on this river...call, fold??Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.25/$0.508 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $48.75UTG+1: $17.55MP1: $22.05MP2: $16.55CO: $64.8
  10. That's what I would think too since that's a play that I see a shorter stack making and yes i would assume in a 3 way that another re-raise would happen pre-flop.
  11. I'm finding these situations lately are causing more harm then good. I've changed it up a bit when I get aggression from bigger stacks, but he had a decent amount behind him.I've been getting stacked lately on these situation which makes me believe that I'm overvaluing my hand.
  12. I've been running into a few of these lately. No reads so do I just attribute this to a sneaky play or is this an easy fold and I'm the donkey??Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.25/$0.509 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $60.75UTG+1: $50MP1: $10.75MP2: $30.85MP3: $52.40Hero: $54.85Button: $47.25SB: $18.10BB: $9.25Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is CO with 3 folds, MP2 raises to $1, MP3 folds, Hero raises to $3.5, Button calls, 2 folds, MP2 calls.Flop: :D ($11.25, 3 players)MP2 checks, Hero bets $8, Button folds, MP2 raises to $27, Hero raises to $54, MP2 calls all-in $0.35.Uncal
  13. That would be a ballsy re-raise on a board that paired, but my bet on the river was really weak. Villian in position if he had the straight would have bet the turn but I maybe giving him too much credit.
  14. Yah I should of...but now I realized after reading other people's results on this hand I made a bad pre-flop play. If he was raising light and my read was that he was trying to buy with any two I should have re-raised to try to take it down there. I would have gotten all the information I need after a strong bet on the flop so I wouldn't be in a such a marginal river situation.I agree though...you bet light and you get that craps hove back up your ass
  15. Oh the reason I chose to play this was I thought he might have been playing any two to buy the blinds so it was a half read. Most of the time I don't cold call oop with this hand
  16. What do you think about this hand?? No real reads...I decide after reviewing the flop to keep it small since I considered a check raise if he bet out . I just checked call.I put a blocker bet on the river, but I think that was a woosy bet and should have bet more. I put myself in marginal situation here on the river and deciding to keep it small prevented me from getting any information that I would of like.Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.25/$0.509 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $62.15UTG+1: $46.10MP1: $40.55MP2: $11MP3: $60.15CO: $75.15Button: $52.90Hero: $62.15BB: $51.5
  17. What about that one song in one of the Karate Kid movies...it goes something like your the best lmao ahha.. I think it was in the first one towards the ending of that tournament.
  18. biggs...thanks for doing the math. I did make the call although at the time i almost folded since I surely knew I was behind. I happen to catch a 2 on the turn.Villian flopped a set of 6's.At the time of the call I thought I was making this call just to gamble and didn't get a chance to consider the pot odds and the price to make this call due to the limited time.
  19. I was short of time to figure out what to do here...obviously he was protecting his hand. Here's the question. I'm not invested heavily on this hand and most likely this guy has a monster in his hand. Is this a +EV call down the road?Obviously I have a ton of outs, but if donkey has pushed with a higher flush draw i'm pretty much just drawing to a straight/straight flush

  21. I plan on just having a check sent to me by pokerstars. Any of you guys come across problems with cashing it with Washington mutual once you get it? I'm tired of waiting for epassporte and plus I can't withdraw to espassporte unless I make a deposit to pokerstars first so it's kind of a pain to deal with.
  22. I figured as much...just like everyone else I want to make sure I have options in taking my money out without having to worry about my bank taking a FTP or pokerstars check haha.
  23. How long have you guys been waiting for your deposits so you can actually do business with epassporte?? I set up an account Saturday and still haven't seen those 2 small deposits they are supposed to do before they start raping me with there transaction costs.
  24. Whoopss...I new I forgot something. I was pretty much at max buy-in and he was somewhere around there as well. I probably should have bet more pre-flop. Usually open raises pre-flop at these stakes on FTP can be anywhere from .75-1.25. With this scenario this hand would have been played for stacks so maybe I made the right decision here. Only two conclusions was either I was way ahead or drawing to 2 outs.
