  2. This is really funny. I would be more than happy to send a 2$ cheque if you need it. Um a little ungrateful me thinks
  3. I realllly want to play as well. I have $1,000.00 on stars but with all the stuff happening lately I don't even want to ask for transfer. Any mods can help? I of course would do the transferring 1st.
  4. To the OP, I agree wholeheartedly. I haven't been playing long (2 yrs)and to be honest I'm not much of a gambler but I do have the means to play in bigger sng's and only used to on occassion. Whenever I played in say the 55 or 100$ sng's I would place maybe 75% of the time in the money. When I played in the 6.50 or 10$ sng's, I would cash maybe 20% of the time. It probably is my lack of poker knowledge i.e. playing against newer "calling station" players or donkeys but now I play strictly in the higher sng's and have much more success with that. I certainly don't play enough to ever make a liv
  5. I also thought I should let people know about an email scam from people saying they were PayPal security and that my "account" had suspiciuos activity and I should click on their link and follow these instructions.....I don't have a PayPal account but I know a lot of poker people do. Do not click on the link. I sent the mail to PayPal and they said it was definately a scam.
  6. I agree if your'e going to rebuy that many times and this cash is small stakes.....why quit?
  7. Girl with pretty homely avatar got into a heated argument in 11$ rebuy on stars. It finished when she told the guy to "eat me". To this his reply was "If that's you in the picture...no thanks' Still laugh when I think of it.
  8. I too gut busted out in the last level of play of day 1C. I was card dead for pretty much the entire day. They moved me to Daniel's table around 5:00 pm so that was a big treat. He really is amazing to watch. He had complete control of our table. He played though with lots of humour and great class. It was a great experience for me. Go all the way Daniel!

I think he just wanted and needed a break before the main event starts (tomorrow). No sense it feeling burned out for the main event which is more exciting than these smaller buy ins
  10. i have the same ticket..... issued same day i won wsop seat...? perhaps that has something to do with it
  11. where exactly does poker stars advertise this??
  12. I'm in through poker stars. Haven't heard about start date yet but hope it's day 3 or 4. I don't arrive till 11:00 pm on the 27th....way too tired to play on the 28th. Best of luck everyone
  13. First of all let me say I'm glad you got your money back given all the circumstances surrounding this incident. It was the fair thing for Harrahs to do, especially when the past WSOP shootouts were run 10 handed to begin with. However, Poker Stars runs numerous shootouts every single day and no matter what the numbers, always divides the field by # of people at the final table, i.e. if there is only 45 that join you start with 9 tables of 5 players each. This is not intended to start a big argument, just thought I'd let you know how one online site runs their shootouts
  14. OK bascomeb listen to the radio show again.....1st scenario was AA and still most pros will fold 1st hand WSOP. And yes AK strong hand but still.............an underdog to any pair
