  1. If you're lucky enough to live in Chicago, you get to see Buddy Guy tear this song up from time to time.
  2. Traditionally, I start in the big blind, then after awhile I get moved so I'm one seat the right of the tourney leader.
  3. Hey, just noticed that I've been a member for exactly 2 years. I'm averaging almost 2 posts/month so far.
  4. Since everyone bases stakes on number of posts, I need to start making more pointless posts. This one should have been based on how many shows we saw. Plus, I would have been nice enough to include the "s" in Tom Constanten's last name.At least the stakes are based on the greatest band of all-time, so gla.
  5. When my FCP money transferred to Stars, I was looking forward to my first Drunkament. But, Drunkaments suddenly disappeared. If I can stay up for a few more hours, I'm in.
  6. Big bonus points for the funniest thread title of the year so far.
  7. There's so many nice things I could say about a fellow Cubs fan, that I don't even know where to start. Let's just say that I'll be celebrating at the corner of Clark and Addison when the Cubs win it all this year. You even have a "44" at the end of your name, so you must be a great person.
  8. At the start, Ram thought he was suckering Ivey, so wouldn't that make Ram a "cheating scumbag" too?The current issue of Card Player has a bunch of anecdotes about the late, great Chip Reese, including one from Annie Duke that had me ROFL. Apparently, back in the day, Chip and Howard Lederer made a weight loss bet that involved Chip losing a lot of weight. Since they didn't put any restrictions on the bet, Chip had gastric bypass surgery and won some easy money. I suppose you consider him a "cheating scumbag" also.
  9. Extra seats and a couple free hats? I'm in. BTW, thank you to FCP for doing all this.
  10. Always one of my favorites. RIP, Chip.Doyle and Todd from the Bluff Magazine page:I have lost one of my oldest and dearest friends today. He was one of the most unique individuals I have ever known and Poker has lost one of the greats today.”- Doyle Brunson“I have lost a mentor and friend today. He was like a family member to me.”-Todd BrunsonThe Brunson family requests that they be allowed to grieve the passing of their dear friend. Funeral arrangement and donation information will be released along with an official statement in the next couple of days.
  11. First Buffalo won a football game, then I won 1k w/ A-K. Something weird is going on.
  12. Yep. The player to my left is a maniac and has been racing for the exit since hand 1. He's got 1,100, but sadly I haven't been able to take advantage of his generosity.
  13. Poker, NFL Sunday Ticket, Guinness, cigar. I'm just 1 or 2 strippers away from the perfect day.
  14. Won the last hand of level 1 to finish +40...lol...at least i'm getting my usual J-5, 9-2 etc... for the first hour
  15. Good luck in the sats. too... I bubbled my first one, so I ended up paying $4.40 to play this donk.
  16. Andy's dad: Here you go son. Can I get you a beer or light your J for you?I hate that poker gets singled out, but if it's tennis, gymnastics, golf, etc... it's fine for kids to drop everything and pursue a career.
