  1. To Quote DN "Chip Reese- considered the best, but he is a little better than that."Chip is +EV
  2. I "tivo" every episode. The ideology is a little extreme for me but it's nothing like listening to Rush. HBO has the best shows on TV. (Sopranos, Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm, 6 Feet Under, Sex in the City (now gone), and Oz).Then again it doesn't have 24. The greatest show of all time.
  3. Johnson played well against poor defenses. When he faced PITT and BALT he was terrible. The Vikes must move up in the draft to get one of the big 3. Trading away Moss and Culpepper for Troy Williamson, Harris(soon to be cut) and some second round pick is terrible.Say what you want about attitude, but we still have "I cover half the world" Fred Smoot( the leader of the love boat). Sad day for me
  4. That was a great last episode. I wish Tony could have died a "hero's death" but I will miss him.Jack is signed up for one more season. I wonder whose going to die next? As long Jack is around, I will be watching!
  5. I really liked the first three seasons. The 4th just didn't seem to have it for me, and so far the 5th season has sucked with Jennifer Garner just doing paperwork. Hopefully these last few episodes will be great!
  6. While there was no sarcasm intended, for some odd reason I was laughing out loud.
  7. The possible answers were1. I believe I am in the top 1%2. I believe someday in the future I will be in the top 1%3. I will never be in the top 1%4. I don't knowSo yes 39% of people do believe they are either or will be in the top 1%, of course there is a +/- of 3, so I guess 33-45% of America to be exact.
  8. My goal wasn't to change people's minds but just to show people a statistic that I found amazing.
  9. But America only see's them as a Muslim country who is out to get us.Sad
  10. Can't believe no one has said Playmakers from ESPN. I loved that show but the NFL made them cut it.Another favorite is TILT, but I don't know whether that was cancelled or not.
  11. That was the best episode they had( because he did survive). Cheaters is a top 5 show on T.V. I love it when they fight
  12. Terry has to be thereArasCourtneyCirie( don't know why)
  13. I was not clear, and I apologize for that. I wasn't trying to refer anyting about tax cuts. I was just trying to say that people in South Dakota who make 300,00 thousand probably think they are in the top 1% nationally, while people who make 300,000 in New York probably don't think they are in the top 1% nationally. Then again I don't eve know the amount of money on average the top 1% has lol.
  14. I undestand the classic liberal arguement that we need goverment to stay out of the economy and everyone has an equal chance. In my opinion its not realistic though. Obviously we are not all born into the same situations. If you are born a Kennedy, you will get the best schooling, be admitted to the best colleges( no matter what your grades are) and be given chances no one else is. Now if you are born into a single parent home where the parent is drug user and ect, you won't get the same oppurtunites and equal chance. I agree with John Rawls who had the "veil of ignorace" concept. If you are
  15. I could understand not wanting Iran or North Korea( I know extreme examples) to run our ports, but is it the Holland who runs them right now? In my opinion our own country should run the ports but I don't have any idea what the costs are, what companies are available to do it, and ect. While I am not a fan of Bush, I think he is getting the raw end of the deal.
  16. I was wondering what everyone thinks about this Port Deal with the United Arab Emirates. I see Bush has just said today that he is now worried about how the Middle East will take to America saying No to them.I found that strange, because he sure didn't seem to care about what they thought about going to war with Iraq, but I guess there different issues. However I don't want to make this into a right-wing hate thread, so I will say that I don't think anyone would care if Norway were the one's taking over the ports?I realize that republican congressman, and senators had to go agaisnt the Presiden
  17. I appreciate your position, but 19% of American's THINKING they are in the top 1% just shows how uneducated they are when it comes to the matter of money or the economy. I think its great that 20% think they will be there somday, but a "free market"( which we don't have) gives everyone a fair chance as long as we start on the same playing level.( which we don't). I agree that American's dont have a clue how much the top 1% has. Most people don't live in New York City and walk by the 25 million dollar penthouses on Central Park which are empty for 9 months of the year because their owners are l
  18. Don't you realize that Gay Marriage is more of a threat to this country than anything else? Who cares about the economy, health care, poor, wars, when we have Gay people trying to get married.People get your pitchforks out, were going to war
  19. You know, that actually makes a lot of sense.
  20. I looked for a politics forum but couldn't find one, so I decided to post this in this forum.I was doing research on why Americans don't vote for what will benefit themselves when it comes to taxes. For example, why do poor people vote for tax breaks for the rich, ect. I came across the most amazing stat. I am sure everyone has heard the Dem's talk about how Bush is giving the "top 1%" in America these huge tax breaks. Well people this is why people like Bush's plan. From a Time Magazine poll with a +/- of 3% with a C.I of 99%.19% of Americans believe they are in the top 1% in America.20% of Am
  21. Here is a link to an article about Russ Hamilton's golf betting(scamming)http://www.travelandleisure.com/tlgolf/inv...D77F07D2EE93497My WebpageIt is 5 pages, but can be summed up with this quote"The upcoming contest was a prime example. Hamilton had played with Thompson several times before and knew that Thompson usually shot around ninety-five. In their haggling during the previous weeks, Hamilton complained about his lack of practice time and a sore back and finally persuaded Thompson to accept one stroke per side. As we sat in the clubhouse, Hamilton flashed a conspiratorial grin across the
  22. Russ Hamilton would be the obvious answer, but I don't know if any "poker players" even gamble on the course with him anymore. I know the guy marks his balls on the green with a 5k Bellagio Chip. Supposedly shoots in the high 70's but always claims to be hurt/sick/playing poorly. Also don't know if Russ Hamilton even qualifies as a "poker player" if we are talking elite players. If I am wrong, apologies to Russ
