I dont think any of this is too bad.With all the limpers prior to the preflop raise 8 bucks is 4 x's the blind. It then becomes a "feeler" raise and helps get a read further down the line on your opponents. (This is where player notes becomes very effective) Once the flop hits the board you can get a read on their hands. The 2 dumbasses who folded rite away had low connectors or small pockets and will probably call you most of the time when you raise. (This will prove profitable later on) I think after the flop any play (regardless) is a good play. You also have the read on your heads up oppon

Some of you folks need to leave it be. Sure my wife would no tbe happy about me going out with a girl I once knew, but she trusts me and thats all that really counts. The same would go if it were reversed. Lets not forget that Lori is married to a poker celebrity, Im sure Daniel gets alot more attention from "poker groupies" as well. It goes with the territory when you marry a celeb.Good luck in your game bitches...

I think you have to look at your opponent in this situation. If he (or she) smooth called your raise preflop with a medium strength hand and hit the flop, the big bet on the flop should tell you the strength of their hand. It may be time to fold. On the other hand if your dealing with a player who you have a good read on and you feel as if they are buying the pot, I think you want to test the waters with a reraise. It is a good spot for that play. If you get reraised you can fold and still have some chips. If you get called it is a good sign your opponent is on a big draw or a small pair. Best

Well I think your being a bit of a baby. This sight is the most informative poker site around. Maybe you should pay the 5 bucks and take your shot. Stop trying to get in for free and complain when you cant. Hope to see you at the tables so I can double my stack.
