Would your view change depending on the # of limpers? I can see the fold equity argument with 2 maybe 3 limpers, but what about a table where 5-7 limp? You likely wont be able to buy that pot without a showdown, no matter what the stakes. And you are out of position to 4 or 5 hands now at least. Im not debating the equity edge, im just wondering how to extract max value from it.

$20 million is not a lot, that is what you need to understand. It is 100BB, which is well within acceptable variance for heads up limit play. those kinds of swings likely happen every few hours in that kind of game, Todd likely just quit Beal at an opportune moment.
