So .. I love my job. I basically sit at my desk and post on forums all day and make 1k a week for doing so. I come in Late, and leave work early. I take 2 hour long lunch breaks. I get all National holidays off paid. This is my third year here , and I have 3 weeks of untouched vacation. I had a pension .. more to that later. I now have a 401k . Paid healthcare. Damn good job . Recently .. I inherited about 3 1/2 buyins to the main event. My pension was returned fully on my behalf , as a refund , not a cashout .. due to a discrepency when my employer originally enrolled me into it. So , because

When Villain raises to 6.00$ , why not just call? (Also Im not familiar with the "Villiam is **/**" , so I dont know what that means. But with AKsuited in a cash game, are you willing to get all your money in preflop without a made hand?)

(SW)Your right , guys im sorry I lied to you. (End Sarcasm Warning)My wallet is heavy , wanna hold it for me ?

Actually , theres no bad beat at MGM , I have 0 reason to make this up. Oh well , wheres theres a message board , theres always trolls .

Thats exactly what Im telling you. Was suprised that they were limping with that when I saw it , thing is .. if I wasnt in the flop , that limp might have been favorable for both of them if it was a different scenario. Like I said , SB seemed like a solid player mixing it up on occasion , and He had big PP's that he raised PF with prior .. I think with the lack of players (3) in the pot , they wanted to keep as many in and then try and trap depending on the texture ... unfortunatly for both of them I landed a monster. Another thing ... maybe they just arent that good? I thought it was a mistak

Nope! I wish , my story woulda been a **** ton better.

lol , i thought about some theatrics .... but then my mind quickly wandered to what I might be able to do with all the money I was about to win , lol

lol , I probably tipped well over 50 dollars in a few hours .

Ill tell ya this , Ive been a long time member here, and normally I stay at the queens and play at Binions only. I seem to get my *** kicked around there in the late hours because I think its got alot of local pros . I read alot about people saying MGM was really loose and its a soft game after midnight. I am a believer after that . Literally , something happens around 12am and people come in , start drinking and just give thier money away, and all I had to do was play ABC poker. I didnt have to make special tricky plays , or even have a read on most of the people. If I had hands to play again

Just flew into Vegas , and was really excited to be here. Last time I was here I lost my entire roll playing Blackjack at Binions, but was ready to just sit and play poker for 4 days. Decided Id go check out the MGM card room after all the stories Ive heard here . Walked in around 9pm, and sat down at the 1-2 NL. (No waiting) sweet!Bought in for 200 , and got it up to around 350 by midnight when this pot came up. 6 Players. Im one off the button with A 10 Clubs. I limp because about an hour ago I was called down with the same hand (I won the pot) , but I raised PF from pretty much same positio

Kristy Gazes May Be My New Favorite Female Poker Player

Thread is useless w/o pics. -
Acid_knight , your signature was put there to make fun of people who do that kinda fishy ****. Yet your giving him the same advice , lol .

Umm , maybe you should come play with me on stars , especially if your telling him to ignore his instincts just because the 'pot is right' PF. If the guy says he puts him on a range of QQ-AA , AK .. he's beat. And if your know your beat, why would you donk off money. To the OP: Trust your reads, if you feel that your beat , especially Preflop from an out of position raiser, there's no need to calculate any pot odds. Its a judgement call , do you feel like hoping to suckout , go right ahead but its bad poker.

while her pictures are interesting to look at , she scares me.

Preflop , the call is 'ok' I may actually release after the raise from the BB if you had already had him on that range of hands. After the flop , there are no overs on the board , and your 4 to a straight with a backdoor flush possibility. I think this is a good time to push. If your up against a higher pair , you have outs , if your up against queens it becomes harder. I push here. Even high PP's have to look at that board be a tad scared that you might have flopped something.

Ya know what , besides reruns and new episodes of WSOP ... PAD is the only tournament poker I watch. And after reflecting on this , Im thankful we have both PAd and HSP. PAD definitly fulfills my need since I only get 1 HSP a week . Both are awesome shows and intuitive in thier own right.
-
I dont agree there Kurt. Often times while watching HSP , the table talk is drowned out by Gabe Kaplan . He announces everything thats going on , and thats great , but Id rather hear the players talking about stories of the past. For instance, last night on PAD (tvio'd coulda been older) , Dolly and David Grey were talking about the LHHU match against Beal . I found it much more interesting, granted the announcer for PAD is a toolbox who spouts one liners, but it never drowns out the action thats going on . Another example , did anyone watch the Huckseed Hansen headup match? Barely any talking

Personally, Im choosing Poker after Dark, as I find it closely resembles HSP , but is more focused on the action and table talk.*Edit* Post your reasoning.

It made me laugh , hopefully you enjoyed it. Happy friday

All in all, it hadn't been a good day. Bad traffic, a malfunctioning computer, incompetent coworkers and a sore back all made me a seething cauldron of rage. But more importantly for this story, it had been over forty-eight hours since I'd last taken a dump. I'd tried to jumpstart the process, beginning my day with a bowl of bowel-cleansing fiber cereal, following it with six cups of coffee at work, and adding a bean-laden lunch at Taco Bell. As I was returning home from work, my insides let me know with subtle rumbles and the emission of the occasional tiny fart that Big Things would be happe
