  1. I folded on the flop so the 99 didn't have trips just yet.
  2. This was at the Gold Strike in Tunica.1-2NLHEBB - about $900button - $750hero - $400UTG raises to $7. fold, fold, I look down at QQ and raise to 27, fold, button raises to 50. BB calls everyone folds back to me. The guy that raised to 50 was real weird in the way he played. He didn't seem to do anything the way I thought he would. I was real scared of his miniraise so I just called. Flop - 8c8s2s. Checked to me, I check (good, bad, or ugly?) The button bets 100. BB thinks for 2-3 minutes and calls. I think for what seemed like an hour and folded(I'll explain my thoughts after responses. What s
  3. That was exactly what I was thinking.A pretty good WPT show. Best I've seen in a while.
  4. I honestly don't know if this site has got better, worse or stayed the same. I used to come to this site 50x a day. Just to see what's going on. I'd brag about it to anyone I could. Then it seemed everytime I read a thread there would be more immature bashing than constructive additions. So I pretty much stopped all together. I tried to help when I could or add mature responses but it didn't work and I didn't really need any more stress in my life. I hope this site has got better like many of you have said. Maybe some of the people that have left will come back. Maybe even some new members who
  5. IIRC DN said he and Chris spoke and Chris agree he wouldn't go by "Jesus" anymore. Then a period of time later DN heard or sw that Chris was still signing autographs as Jesus and then it was on like Donkey Kong.
  6. Are you assuming Ivey is loaded? Don't get me wrong I hope he is and for all I know he is loaded. But there's been the occasional thread talking about how Ivey blew a large % of his bankroll on craps.I don't have a clue but for all we know Ivey's been in that boat as well.
  7. Dude, I had no idea you made it that far. Not that it surprises me...... Awesome job man. Keep it up!
  8. My first time to Vegas in 2 years. I'm actually going for work but I'll find plenty of time to play.Anyone going to be there or anyone have advice on what are some good tourneys for 150 or less?
  9. You may be right. But I remember in years past the prize pool was about the same as other WPT tourneys.
  10. I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure you're mistaken.
  11. Is that 2am 7 days a week?I'll be arriving in Vegas at like 11pm on a Friday night... So so they run on Saturday at 2 am?
  12. I'm saying it's easy as heck to transfer money back and forth. Nothing more ................ Can you think of a way to get large sums of cash around? I don't know that it happens a lot or if it happens at all. I'm just saying it would be pretty easy.As far as regulating it that sounds great to me.
  13. So there's a tourney I'm signed up for that I can't play in because it says I already have 3 tables open. Someone please explain that to me. So what am I supposed to do quit one tourney to start another because I can't open it?
  14. I love poker. I play it online.... I wish we could have it forever. ButIsn't one of the things the govt is trying to do is stop the money laundering for terrorism? It does seem pretty easy for them to transfer money. I dunno but wouldn't it be easy to deposit money via Neteller to Full Tilt then transfer the money to the other fella on Full Tilt then they take that money from FT to Neteller then cash out?If it wasn't for stuff like that it would be harder wouldn't it?Please keep in mind I don't like what they're doing but it is kind of easy to do some of that laundering.Isn't it or would it be
  15. I understand how you feel. I play pretty small stakes. I loved FCP when they were part of Pokerroom because of all the $5 tourneys. I've won probably 6-7 $5 and $10 MTT's. Anywhere from 125 people all the way up to 650 people. I got 2nd in a 20+2 with 1800 people. I've even won a couple other $20 and $30 MTT's. I've played live and won maybe 5 of those anywhere from 30 people to 100 people. But ins from $25 - $100.But I donk it up so much I really lose faith in my reads and overall abilities. I look back and think "anyonecan win a tournament". I just feel like I was very lucky. I mean I must h
  16. I guess I should have put the "sw" in there.
  17. I've played snooker. I don't doubt for a minute that snooker is much harder than 9 ball for example. The fast action of 9 ball does attract an audience. For me banks or one pocket is fun to watch but I doubt it would get good TV ratings.I can't explain why snooker is so popular in the UK. I think that's great but it doesn't mean it would work in the US. Soccer is just a lil more popular outside the states as well. I can't explain that one either.
  18. at least you aren't biased.......way to go
  19. For starters look at the prize pools in pro pool tourneys. There isn't near the action for the "road players" anymore. I can only speak for the mid south when I say it was the casinos coming in that ruined it. A decent money game was something like 10 ahead for 1k. These poker players just flip coins for that kind of money. It's weird in places like Detroit in the 1970's they'd have 50k - 100k cash games. Seems like as time has gone by the games have been smaller and smaller.
  20. Is that a pic of DNA? If so were you ever in the military?
  21. He's probably grown up quite a bit in the last year.

  23. I think the Shoe has daily $200.800-303-7463 or its 800 303 7463 i forget
