For what team and when?Played Soccer in EuropeJeff -
QFT....was here in the beginning when Smash did it, and I love seeing the trend continue....um, it's only an internet message board.LOL, i love the "i'm leaving beg me to stay" threads -
I think it's fairly conceivable that he may have also called the flop with AK. Not saying I would do it, but I've seen worse things happen.Played fine, and well done inducing the river spazz. Only thing we lose to reasonably is 85 and 76. -
Keeping your mom in my thoughts, and sending out positive vibes her way. These docs sound like they know what they're doing, so I'm keeping my hopes up for you.On a personal note, and I know it is completely unsolicited advice, but don't worry about LA right now. I think you'll find a lot of peace and solace in spending time with your brother and being close to home. I know we don't know each other, but I am just speaking from the heart.

Keeping Mrs. N in my thoughts. Hope those Canadians take good care of her!!!

F the EPL....the game of the weekend is happening right now in the Coca Cola Championship.....Sheff Utd vs. Sheff Wed. United losing 2-1 with half an hour left. It's been 94 years since Wednesday have done the season double against us, and I'll be pissed if that ends today.

I did this a few months ago, and it is as advertised. Pay the entry fee, and once the tourney ends you go to a link they provide, enter your username, and the money is credited back to you by the next day, I think. I made a nice early run into the chip lead, then ran AK into AA, and QQ into KK.So I know doyles room really stinks as a poker site. But lately they have been advertising that once you make your first real money deposit(which I think only has to be 30 dollars) you can register in their wednesday night $27+3 bounty tourney that Doyle, Mike Caro, Todd Brunson, and Hoyt Corkins plays in with a bounty of 500 dollars a piece. Then no matter how well or bad you do in the tourney they give you your entry and rake back along with any money you may have made from the bounty tourney. It almost sounds to good to be true. But Doyles room could just be that desperate to get people there to play. Just curious if anyone has taken them up on the offer? -
I agree with the masses. If you're calling the turn, why would you fold that river? This could easily be AQ, KQ, and the villain could have slowplayed himself out of the hand. If you're folding that river, then don't bother calling the turn.
-
That pretty much mirrors what my WSOP schedule will look like too....ya know, other than all the events.

Out. Got short after the KQ debacle, and was pretty much card dead the rest of the way. Had just over 5 BBs left and hadn't seen an ace in a while. Thanks for the stake.PokerStars Game #24266023173: Tournament #136377419, $4.00+$0.40 Hold'em No Limit - Level IV (50/100) - 2009/01/25 12:49:33 CT [2009/01/25 13:49:33 ET]Table '136377419 20' 9-max Seat #9 is the buttonSeat 1: chenet (2825 in chips) Seat 2: raoul566 (2675 in chips) Seat 4: sufcblade (570 in chips) Seat 5: celinourico (8150 in chips) Seat 6: 8Superman8 (5870 in chips) Seat 7: YSOSERI0US (1680 in chips) Seat 8: kathy12362 (2395 in chips) Seat 9: MACMIMI (6644 in chips) chenet: posts small blind 50raoul566: posts big blind 100*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to sufcblade [Ac 4d]sufcblade: raises 470 to 570 and is all-incelinourico: folds 8Superman8: calls 570YSOSERI0US: folds kathy12362: folds MACMIMI: folds chenet: folds raoul566: folds *** FLOP *** [2s 5d 2d]*** TURN *** [2s 5d 2d] [Td]*** RIVER *** [2s 5d 2d Td] [7s]*** SHOW DOWN ***sufcblade: shows [Ac 4d] (a pair of Deuces)8Superman8: shows [Ts Tc] (a full house, Tens full of Deuces)8Superman8 collected 1290 from pot*** SUMMARY ***Total pot 1290 | Rake 0 Board [2s 5d 2d Td 7s]Seat 1: chenet (small blind) folded before FlopSeat 2: raoul566 (big blind) folded before FlopSeat 4: sufcblade showed [Ac 4d] and lost with a pair of DeucesSeat 5: celinourico folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 6: 8Superman8 showed [Ts Tc] and won (1290) with a full house, Tens full of DeucesSeat 7: YSOSERI0US folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 8: kathy12362 folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 9: MACMIMI (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)

Yeah, I definitely enjoy a Vodka Lemonade w/ a splash of sprite, or a screwdriver w/ a splash of sprite. Very refreshing. The latter is a beautiful drink when you're trying to kill a hangover while walking down the strip at 7 amSprite and lemonade is pretty tasty fyi. I saw someone making it at the drink stand and tried it -
No Hardee's in my vicinity anymore....and that's probably a good thing for my heart.Hardees Monster Burger = Glorious Bacon Wrapped Heart Attack Waiting to HappenEspecially if you get the bacon cheese fries with it. Your arteries will hate you but its amazing. You have been warned. -
I like those too, but there are some who use way too much sugar and water...if it's legitimate fresh squeezed, it's awesome. One other lemonade to add for consideration-the lemonade at Panera Bread is pretty damn good.I would say the most ridiculous sweet tea I ever had was when my friend and I were driving down to Raleigh, NC and we stopped at a Hardees in southern VA. They must have literally put a 5 pound bag of sugar in that batch of tea. I drink a lot of soda and other sugary drinks, but this stuff jacked up my blood sugar so high I almost felt like I was on drugs. It was insane. Needless to say, we stopped at that same Hardees again on the drive but it did not nearly match the greatness of the first one.For the record, I am a big fan of those freshly squeezed lemonade stands where they make it right in front of you by the cup. They often give you too much ice for my liking, but it is almost always very good.I lol'd. -
I love the unintentional thread hijack that started with an innocuous comment about lemonade. For the record, I don't mind Tropicana, but it's a little sugary. I do like Simply Lemonade and Newman's Own. The worst has to be Minute Maid Light that they serve at McDonalds....tastes like water.I've never seen it. -
Very good point....b/c if it's pink lemonade or nothing, it's gonna be pink lemonade....with some Absolut, obv. So, fave brands? Country Time, Minute Maid, Tropicana, other? The sweetness is good though. And, you just have to be confident in your heterosexuality. It's like, "Yeah...I just ordered a pink drink...want to make something of it?"Awesome to know we've got a decent number of lemonade fans around here. -
