  1. Apparently you didn't see my post...Borntrade was the site. Out of China. *edit* or it used to be. google now shows this as the site: http://www.borntradejersey.cn/
  2. Borntrade? They changed their website address a few times since I used it, so I'm not sure what it is now, or if it's even still running.
  3. The Pens did an awesome job of insulating Fleury. Aside from a few spots, they seemed to limit any quality chances. Gotta love the crowd supporting him with the "Fleury!" chants, too.
  4. Even though its good for us, it's sad that you can expect to be on the powerplay soon because the other team had a few chances at it already. Both teams shouldn't have equal chances every game.
  5. Feels like the Pens think they're playing against Philly, not NY with all these stupid penalties...Carcillo on the ice probably confused them.
  6. Good - his speed makes him a threat on the PK.
  7. I have a feeling Crosby has some nagging injury that we're going to hear about when the Pens are done with the playoffs. Probably from all the Dubinsky attention.
  8. That kid is epic. Hopefully my voice will return by Saturday.
  9. My biggest fear is that hockey would increase his risk, but if he's just as susceptible to a stroke playing hockey as he is sitting at home, then I feel a lot better about hiim playing. I'm still gonna cringe when I see him get hit, though.
  10. I'm getting almost numb to the injuries at this point. Just unreal.
  11. He just knows that controversy = ratings, so he'll insult the listeners, callers, and try to take down athletes that he knows fans will rally behind, because that means he gets attention. He's kind of like a pissed off toddler with a weight problem, but he's not stupid. It obviously works and he knows hockey, but again - take with a grain of salt. I'm a little worried about losing Martin...again. It'll be a month, so hopefully he'll be 100% for the playoffs.
  12. I was at the game tonight - man that would have been fun if they let Fleury and Budaj go, but the rational part of me is glad it didn't happen.
  13. So as far as olympians, we have: Crosby and Kunitz = Canada Malkin = Russia Orpik and Martin = USA Jokinen and Maatta = Finland Am I missing anyone? Good for Maatta, being so young and making his national team. I tend to lean towards cheering for the individual players and not the countries itself, so I usually pull for Team Canada, but I'm a Martin fan so maybe I'll be divided this time around.
  14. Malkin skated today, which frankly, is amazing to me. He's out for tonight and the next game, probably. Still...I wouldn't have been surprised to not see him until at least February.
  15. Totally agree - that looked really bad.
  16. Glad to hear he was actually walking - it scared the hell out of me when I saw he tried putting weight on it and collapsed again. I felt the same way about Kobasew as you do on Glass.
  17. This was easily the worst game of the season IMO.
  18. I was just talking about how, with all our injuries, it's a damn good thing we still have Orpik out there. I'm a little sick to my stomach about this.
  19. ''He didn't want to fight, but I basically said, 'Protect yourself,''' Emery said. Here are Emery's stats: GAA: 10.53 SV: 11 SV % .733 And the grossest part of all of this? He got the 3rd f-ing star of the game. Philly is garbage.
  20. I actually work there, so I'm there way more than I want to be.
  21. I'm not so convinced this was a legit offer. No confirmation from Philly, as the report on the Philly deal came from Detroit Free Press.
  22. Either this was a cluster****, or a brilliant move to put pressure on Detroit.
  23. I just want to post this and lol again at how poorly they handled drafts and trading Kris Benson: http://deadspin.com/every-shitty-thing-that-happened-to-the-pittsburgh-pira-1253433938 And I'd give them a pass on getting Jose Bautista if they didn't trade him away before he blossomed into a real player.
  24. I caught myself giving a sigh of relief when the game was decided last night, so I'm not so different. I'm also bracing myself for the inevitable cockiness that's going to come from the fans around here. I work at the casino, so I see tons of fans every night and they're starting to get a little ahead of themselves. I know I sound like a Debbie Downer but honestly I like seeing young fans that are simply happy and living in the moment on how the team is doing, but I hate the cocky fans that pretend this team has arrived, and the Pirates deserve to win it all.
