  3. If you pull the 2 out of a deck of 52. put it back in, shuffle. what are the odds you will get the 2 again ?Basically we were playing a roulette type game. There were all diff cards from a different deck, eg. suits, numbers, black/red etc. We bet on what card would come up when we cut the deck. A guy bets on every card but the 4 . A 2 comes up. He claims that a 2 will have a chance of coming 1 in 2704 (52x52) on the next hand.
  4. I've been ****ed with AJ l8 in as tournament when you have 7BB and the table is tight, its quite a good looking hand.Ron, have you ran out of things to do on the internet and now your asking people if they have ran out of things to do
  5. Ivey thought Ramidin apparently.id go withNegreanu No. 1then Brunson, then Ivey then Ungar.Greenstein would be good too i think. Or phil hellmuth. or both !! thatd be the best
  6. play like Josh Arieh i guess. I go for the opposite, Alen Cunnigham or Barry Greenstein image. Quiet, but aggressive as hell. I try not to draw attention to myself but others start calling me a bully

  11. I got a $1000 br on FCP. It was about $3k but i had a few heavy losing sessions. I can play PLO, FLHE and NLHE and have a great record in NLHE tournies, but i find if i play them constantly i lose the driveto play them. I've tried SNGs (turbo, short handed, ring) and have done reasonably well at them.Any advice?
  12. Hes definately not a tournament fish. he did make some suspect plays on HSP. but no less than Howard Lederer said that even tho he does all the whining, complaining etc. the only reason he gets all the attention is because he is a phenomenal (spell?) card playerhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqGT6gMvidg
  13. Well, some pros get paid 10k or so for wearing a hat at the final table of an event. But people like Lederer, who own part of FT would get alot more. I dont really know, but Hellmuth mentioned numbers as high as 100million, but he is in the more businesses than just online poker
  14. Yup, those are the typical responses for someone who asks a dumb question.
  15. damn, two people beat me to it
  16. 1000/2hrs=500/1hr15BB/100hands= $15/100hands$15x5=$75 per hour
  17. My dictionary doesnt have pictures!there is no luckiest poker player, everybody will get dealt the same cards at the same time. Luck is involved when you look at the most anyone would win in any one session coz you could say they were lucky to get the cards in that session. So Joe Hachem. Or even Phil Ivey because he was able to catch cards and crush Andy Beal. As Matusow says Phil Ivey is the best player in the world but he is also the luckiest. Everyone gets the same cards, what you do with them defines whether you are a winner or a loser
  18. Is the claim, the PP pros could beat Sammy, Daniel, Doyle and Jerry playing 10/20 on Party or that the PP pros could beat Sammy, Daniel, Doyle and Jerry playing 300/600 [100] live in font of cameras ?Theyd probably win online coz 1) The money would make no difference to the big players 2) The online pros have mastered the NLHE games. But to think that they could beat the pros in the 300/600 is stupid. Pressure, camera, money relativity, and most importantly, READS! Nobody are better readers of people than guys like Daniel and Ted
  19. it basically boils down to you personally. I feel I'm not great at multi tabling, it depends how alert i am, but usually 2 cash tables and a tournament table is more than enough for me, anymore i definately think i lose EV. sometimes playing one is bad, esp 10 handed, coz i get bored. but it depends on the game, and how many players
