a few things..1) you dont want to call off your tournament 2) u want to find out where u are3) tp tk 5 handed (5h i think?) is not neccesarily the best handSo, id flat call on flop and fold to a raise from behind. If it is hu, when he bets, id push it ai if i think he hasnt it, or fold if i think he has it. calling is worst coz u dont know where u are.hope this helped

I've been on these forums for a while now, commenting on different things etc.I started out with a tiny bankroll and have now built it up. I thank all the guys that have given me pointers, and even the guys that havent given me personally any pointers. I have played mostly SNGs online and have made $2.5k in the last 6months or so. Starting at $10 all the way to $50. I also was succesful in some MTTs. 4th in a $108 on FCP for $1.4k, 6th in a $33+R on FCP for $650(this was what got my BR started, ie first time above $150 on FCP0, 2nd in a $22 180 on stars for a split $800. Anway, dont wana make

"Sweden's Håcken entered the final table as the big stack with $10.3 million in chips but dazzy2004 was close behind with less than $100,000 fewer chips. Nobbyhayes was at the bottom with only $2.7 million. These were huge chip counts for a Poker Stars final table, especially when compared to last week where the chip leader entering the final table had only $3 million, almost as much as the short stack here."- Cardplayer ArticleNever mentioned that everything started out 4 times the size.

Yes. Surely everything is the same ?Although I can see people willing to put half their stack on the line thinking '5k is plenty for this stage'

play $5 SNGs. The micro MTTs arent really worth (playing 5hrs and cashing for $8 aint that good), but if you were to play MTTs, Id reccomment the $4 180s on stars. Theres always the hit n run on 25c/50c tables. Buy in for $10, double and run

Have you seen Gavin Smith, Michael Mizrachi and Gus Hansen play ?

Is there any real top PLO players out there on the forums ? Or even, who are the top PLO players on the internet, is there any players that would really improve your game by watching them ?So dont say something like Mike Matusow on FullTilt (coz he wud play 25-50 short handed against other pros). A player that plays the normal games and makes constant good decisions in a standard ring PLO game would be great

There's just some things that I would like to comment on in relation to DNs blog. The first thing is his disapproval of the term 'African-American'. I completely agree with him. It wasnt just this issue but other things like this that came up in the last 6 months or so. I believe people these days are too racially and religously aware. You see a black guy and you call him black. Is that racist ? It's like calling a good looking person 'hot', its not offensive, its just the truth. And the term African American doesnt make much sense anyway, so calling them black, IMO is politicaly correct. And

bah, i ws hardcorepawn. Busted 9th. First beat came when the SB (who was tilting imo) pushed all in. I had JdQd. It was tought, coz obviously im a big underdog to alot of hands. But I just thought I had the best hand and called. He had 9d4d. Flop was K94. So I lost that hand. Then the final hand was when he raised on button and i pushed ai from sb with AQ. He called with JJ. Flop came 3 spades, so i have 15outs to hit. No joy and i bust in 9th

Folding equity Added equity in the fact that your opp will fold to your bet, and you will the pot. Used alot in tournaments. Hoyt Corkins is a good example. He can push all in alot because he has folding equity. This is why its so important to be aggressive, because when your opponent folds, you win whats in the pot 100% of the time.

Erik Lindgren reckons its simply a sick ability to gamble.Self control, discipline etc. (most imp for side games)Balls (most imp for tournaments)
