  1. It's probably worth about half of what Party is worth. Since Party is listed on the London exchange, it's market cap is a matter of public knowledge. Anyone know offhand what it is?
Market cap would not be a good measure here."Market capitalization is a function of the price of a firm's stock and may not accurately reflect intrinsic value because of varying future expectations held by investors. It is common for a firm's market capitalization to exceed "book value" (shareholders' equity) because market prices tend to increase at a quicker pace than earnings accumulate due to value placed on expected future growth." wikiI remember reading Party made approx $350 million profit in 2004 and had valuations of upwards of $7 billion. I would say 1/4 of Party is a better guess than 1/2.

That is my favorite line. You'll pay for it? Oh, I thought you wanted the free FCP gear that comes with starting a new topic. How about a shout out on the video blog instead?
  3. I think he was making fun of the fact that the other guy used "your" instead of "you're" so he used "you're" instead of "your".I also think Actuary is being worn down by the corner office and getting bitter with life.
2/3 eh. Not too shabby, let me try again.FMP(substance abuse is going to be my next guess, then hang nail.)
  4. Actuary...come on, you're better than this...
I think he was making fun of the fact that the other guy used "your" instead of "you're" so he used "you're" instead of "your".I also think Actuary is going through a painful divorce and getting bitter with life.
  5. Can you count suckas? I say the future is ours if you can count! Why are you fighting amongst yourself? You could be ruling the tables. Unite and defeat donks togethers.Note: Nothing in this post constitutes a reference to or support of collusion. Further, losses to donks in reliance of this post are solely the responsibilty of the losing party. Finally, beating someone head's up is totally irrelevant to the appropriateness or reasonableness of the winner or the loser's posts. In fact, I demand that both of you pick a number from 1 to 10, the winner will be declared Grand Master of the Universe and the matter will be settled.

  6. Anything that isnt spam, a moronic question directed at DN, or general lunacy is acceptable.Unrelated, Daniel, what do you think has caused this poker boom? When is Stacked coming out? And is it true that you are a member of Opus Dei and have rigged the protege contest, the WSOP and online poker?

  7. didint bees buy out KEMS?
They are both produced by the United States Playing Card Company, started in 1867, that produces and distributes playing cards, including Kem, Bee, Bicycle, Aviator, Tuxedo and Hoyle, plus other playing card accessories, like poker chips. The company is based in Norwood, Ohio. For over a hundred years, the inexpensive Bicycle brand cards have been the top selling playing card brand in the world. Bee is a high-quality brand manufactured not only for consumer use, but used widely in casinos. The company also famously made the Iraq's Most Wanted playing cards. In addition to playing cards, the company offers card game accessories and novelty playing cards, including Winnie the Pooh, Spider-Man, NASCAR, Harley-Davidson, Coca-Cola and Budweiser. The company also produces many varieties of Tarot cards.USPC has owned Spanish playing card manufacturer Heraclio Fournier since 1986. In 2004 they acquired Kem Playing Cards.Since October 2004, the United States Playing Card Company has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jarden Corporation.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States...ng_Card_Company
  8. Touche! But I still don't like the jerseys.
From reading your blog, you don't sound like a great poker player, but you sure come across as a nice person (all the more impressive in this forum of anonymous jerks). Yeah, that's right, I called you jerks because many of you are often rude. I didn't want to throw down the gauntlet but I was left with no choice...jerks.
  9. SO let me start from the beginning here. Like 2 months ago I made my first deposit in months on Doyles Room. I figure what the heck, with summer break coming up I might as well play online as well as the live games I play. SO I deposit $100 figuring if I lose that than I really suck and shouldnt play anyways. Well that $100 worked out well as I climbed my way to $600 in a week and cashed out $500. Then with the remaining $100 I played sngs like before. Well I got impatient and played a $55 buy in MTT when I only had $120. I know stupid but it worked out as I won the tournament and the $1280 that went with it. SO I cash $1200 and lost the rest. Then I quit for a bit and last night made another $100 deposit and made it up to $215 before calling it a night. Well today I must be the unluckiest person in the world. I was knocked out a $10 sng when my AQ lost to QJ on a flop of Q44. Then in another a guy doubled my blind and I called with AQ, on a flop of A Q 7 I check to the raiser who bets the pot, I go all in for 4k more and with 6k total in chips he calls with KQ, hiting 10 J to win. Ok what the heck thats poker. Now frustrated I decide to play $20+2 sng when my aces are cracked twice by the same short stack down to 3(top 2 pay). Now I go all in with K J and get called by someone with 1500 more chips with 93, flop comes 10 J A then 33. I mean do you only run well right after initial deposit or what, I mean I cant believe the **** thats happened today, now flame away cause I wont be back, I figure I run good live so thats what Im stickin to...for now anyways
I just checked. You are the second unluckiest person in the world. There is an HIV positive child soldier in Sudan who saw his parents murdered in front of him and lost his limbs on a land mine who only cashed out $1600. He is the unluckiest person in the world.
