  2. I feel sick as hell right now. If I somehow start feeling a little better by 4:30 I'll play the Mid ME, if not I'm out.

  5. Somebody reassure me that not having a job or internship between my junior and senior years of college is fine and won't ruin my chances of getting anywhere in life.Or you know, don't.
  6. Is Stars lagging for anybody else or is it just me?
  7. Well, my stack just went from 10k to 4300 without seeing more than 2 flops. I basically got snapped on every single time I made any raise, and every time I had a hand I got snapfolded to.
  8. My table in the 530 has yet to have anybody bust and we're almost 3 hours into the tournament.

  10. I lose a flip in one of the few tourneys I play all year, what's new.GL everybody who's still in these, somebody please ship something.
  11. Ugh, made a bad bluff on the 2nd last hand until the break, down to 18k at 6th break in the 3k. Blinds 350/700 when we get back.
  12. Spinning my wheels, 17,100 in the 3k at 3rd break.
  13. Yeah, if we're deeper then pot control becomes a much bigger issue. I probably still 3-bet pf and bet flop and turn in that case, but I think the river is probably either a check/fold or a bet/fold. I might c/f here because the implied odds keep more flush draws in his range, in addition to the fact that he's much less likely to push hard with these hands on the flop or turn.
  14. It's not an overbet though. It's like 80% of the pot if I shove because that's what's left in his stack.I'm fine with seeing that he could float the flop with an OESD or a hand like AK/AQ, but the chances that he's calling the turn with those hands is really low.
  15. But as played, how does he end up with nothing on the river? The only thing that could fit this is KQ, and I think that's folding on the turn most of the time. To think that he's calling the flop and turn with a hand that has no showdown value after the river hits, well, I just don't see it unless he's pulling the 'ole triple-float to bluff the river for less than a psb.
  16. Yeah, from EP this hand just doesn't play profitably at a FR table. This type of hand will put you in tons of tough spots like this because you are OOP with a fairly weak hand and deep stacks. I really don't think that there are any table conditions early in a tourney like this where raising this pf is a profitable play.OP, it might seem like condescending advice, in that it's so simple, but you must learn to walk before you can run. I don't care how much of an edge you have postflop over the rest of the table, KTs is going to have a very thin margin of profitability if any at all from EP,
  17. No, I tried to explain it in an earlier post, but I'll reiterate it here.He is almost never bluffing this river. The only hand he would bluff with here is maaaaaaaybe KQ and even that's unlikely because he probably folds the turn. He's not floating air here twice to bluff the river, it's just a terrible board for that because the board is just too scary to bluff. Therefore, his hands are either a made flush draw/combo draw (again I feel kinda unlikely because he would be getting more money in with big draws, and probably folding lesser draws) or a hand with some showdown value, but not grea
  18. Rollin, I sent $40, so I should have 2 spots.
