This in itself doesn't bother me - we will get his money soon enuff - but what is annoying is when the whole table then chimes in with NH.

This might help

yes he did - me & the guy standing beside me both kinda looked at each other with a cartoon "ZOINKS" look, and tried to figure out what happened. -

Railing the $330 afternoon tournament at the Wynn... (the suits might be wrong but you get the point)Player UTG +1 - relatively short stacked had stolen the blinds & antes by raising all-in pre-flop 3 times in a row before this hand.He raises all-in folded around to SB who also folds - UTG+1 flashes his bottom card (Ad) to someone across the table and them tosses his hand in the middle of the table (doesn't hit the muck). He then realizes that the BB hasn't acted - so he grabs his cards back. Things go wacko - floor called over for a ruling (dead hand??, show one show all etc...)Floor rules -

5 dollar sit'n go on pokerroom.comall-in the very first hand from player UTG+1 - everyone folds - player shows AA.Donkey1: i hate pocket acesDonkey2: no kiddingDonkey1: and pocket KsDonkey3: the only way to bet them is all in -
I sometimes open raise utg with that too (depending on the table conditions) - what I meant to say was the donkeys who can't fold an Ace and no matter what the conditions are, and end up going all in with top pair bottom kicker to a 4 flush board. I can fold an ace postflop, no problem :)It's these people who can't understand the concept.Pardon my incorrect wording
-
It's not a hard to concept to grasp - it just assumes that no one would fold an A-rag or K-rag in early/mid position.I guess those who can't grasp it would also open raise with A2os UTG.

Interesting theory, will have try it on Actuary just to see him go ballistic when I river an ace to his 55.

Thanx everyone for the answers, keep 'em coming if there is anymore wisdom out there... It's just gonna be me & my wife - but thanx anyway. Was thinking about Tao, Pure and possibly Rain, these are the one you here the most about. I noticed for example on Pures website that they have both table reservation & guest list - can you get on the guest list (to skip the line) without reserving a table??One last question - what are the hours of operation?? I'm used to clubs here in Denmark where anything before 1 am is too early - and usually going until 5-6 am. When are good times to get to
-
I will be travelling to Vegas the end of September and would like peoples recommendations about what nightclubs are good. Also when it comes to entry do you have to book ahead, what are the lines like is it best to reserve a table??? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.goose

Actually all they would have to do is figure out what the average number of hands per 90 minute level live is and then figure out how long it would take to play the same number of hands in cyberspace.Would cut the time down (espcially with the timers on online sites), and still get as many hands done per level.

No he didn't, being Australian he does not have to pay U.S. taxes - and because poker was his "hobby" he didn't have to pay Australian taxes on that. Click to readNon-Americans get their winnings taxed at first - but then have to apply to get them back from the U.S. gov't - once they do that they are subject to the tax laws in their country of residence.

They could have hole cams - all they would have to do is put the transmission on a 10 minute tape delay. Combine this with telling players that no cell phones where allowed, the only problems that I could see arising are someone in the audience relaying a message to player that he laid down a hand 30 minutes ago to a bluff.

I use Poker Academy Standard (haven't bought pro yet)I believe that it plays pretty much like better players would (I haven't moved up to anything more than 1/2 online where there still are a few donks ). The AI players are pretty good and you can tweek them to your hearts desire. As far as how it compares to other sims - I don't know, but I think that it is harder to bump them off the pot - the AI players behave like proper "pros" they use pot odds & implied odds and from what I read about the AI they can also develop reads on you. The only problem I have with it is - the are no built in "
