(a) I'm reminded of this SNL skit, http://snltranscripts.jt.org/91/91sperot.phtml, specifically It can be done, you just need cabinet members who have run businesses and who understand that I will fire their asses if they don't treat their departments like a business (yes, I over-generalize, it's what the people want).(b) yes, i'm aware. that doesn't mean it isn't a good ideal. right now we're passing laws based on ideals instead of reality anyway, so I guess i'm just following the status quo here.© I'm open to basically any suggestions at this point. Right now I'm more concerned with the b

Obviously that could be a dissertation, but at a very basic level, i think the way the internal economic motivators within government agencies work is about as broken as possible. There is no accountability to be cost effective due to the way government accounting is done and budgets are determined, there is no incentive to be good at your government job (positive or negative), and I think we need to quit sending so much money to countries that hate us and pay down our debt load so we're not paying so much in interest. Additionally, I think we need major entitlement reform so that those syst

Installing all of those vents decreased the temperature in my house by maybe 1 degree. )($@#* beans, help me make my house cooler.

I can have more babies. As previously noted, I'm dangerously fertile.I would think i'd be a republican a lot of democrats could get on board with. Despite my Christianity and conservative views, I don't think the federal government should be legislating morality. If california wants to have gay-only marriages and drugs on every street corner or whatever, they're welcome to it. I think it's wrong, but the federal government shouldn't be applying broad homegenous laws or social policy to a huge country whose success is built upon a diversity of people, ideas and cultures. I mean, if I let t

I mean, yes, the supremacy clause renders the direct result of the law null and void, but things like this are obviously a plus on the side of the states who are trying to take the federal government to court and challenge the constitutionality of obamacare in the first place.

I spent the afternoon / evening last night installing all new soffit vents on my house. It was 103 degrees outside. I hope this earns me some beans points at least.

Cake Poker - Worse Security Issues Than Cereus
Naked_Cowboy replied to Lrgetrout's topic in General Poker Forum
my PTR is pretty accurate. it misses sessions here and there, but for the most part it's a reasonable representation of my activity. it's certainly useful enough for game selecting as a HU player. -
Cake Poker - Worse Security Issues Than Cereus

I think it's interesting as well, but I don't like the use of the bolded. In fact, I use the base features of PTR pretty heavily to game select, so I'm more inclined to take the opposite opinion to your summary paragraph. I don't think they should be selling hand histories, but the line between what I use the site for and full out purchasing hand histories is a very hazy one on a very slippery slope... at night. Whoever is running PTR has solid business acumen. They've created a ton of goodwill for themselves by trying to act as the watchdog for the players, while at the same time exploiti -

i'm going to be kind here.a made hand basically means one with showdown value. what has showdown value can vary to a ridiculous degree depending on who/what you are playing. a made hand in heads up no-limit is completely different from a made hand in full ring pot limit omaha. you could both be both right and wrong depending on the context of the game.stop taking poker advice from a 10 year old movie.

Disgusting Debate Over Supposedly Simple Poker Rule
Naked_Cowboy replied to dna4ever's topic in General Poker Forum
as soon as mp said that i hope everyone started laughing.seriously though, it's C. in no instance that doesn't involve a shove can you ever raise the current bet (700) less than 1 big blind (1,100 total) -
Ok, then just go to Mesa. Make reservations a few days in advance or you won't get in. There are plenty of "vegas-cheap" options on the menu, and you can still get world class food.

Carnevino in the palazzo is frequently rated as the best steakhouse in las vegas. It's mario batali's place. The 40+oz 2 person ribeye is one of the best things i've ever eaten. Also, get the mashed potatoes for sure.

part 2 No, i won't. You try and that's more than a lot more people than you realize. Stop picking your ideal of perfection and constantly measuring yourself against that. It's not healthy. There's no one here who wouldn't objectively say you're in a really great spot for where you're going.

Point of Order, i'm pretty much the nicest guy on earth at a poker table as there are very few things that I find more relaxing. After a few consecutive HNRs online though, i do start whipping out the "assbag"s. I'm glad it's at least entertaining. Look closer. I'm quite certain I look *exactly* like a republican. I'm practically wearing the uniform in those pictures. I'm much closer to a libertarian in disguise though. Thank you. He is absolutely hilarious. I'm glad your work is settling down a little. I'm lucky that my second job takes place mostly on my couch. When I worked in publ
