  1. Casino:2/4 or 3/6 HE. $100+20 NL tournaments.Online:$5-10 SNG NLMTT up to $30 buy-in.Sometimes, limit HE cash games, but not very often and at very low limits. Just don't enjoy it.
  2. There was one last night on ESPN Classic that I hadn't seen in a while that was really good.It was the WSOP '98 final table with Scotty Nguyen and Mcbride. It was after McBride had took down the 1.4m pot with trip 4s, and it had cut a good bit into Scotty's lead. On a hand where both players checked the flop and turn, McBride then bet out for 120K on the river. Scotty thought for a bit and put out a raise to total 300K. McBride, who hadn't made a hand but had two face cards in the hole, folded. Scotty turned up something to the effect of like 5-6 offsuit, which also left him with no hand - and
  3. For limit, I run on about 23% flops seen. This tends to be consistent whether I have a decent session or not so decent session. Where the gap develops between winning nights and losing nights, at least from what I've seen studying my own records (your mileage may vary) is on winning nights, the percentage of hands won at showdown to showdowns participated in is anywhere from 75-85% (81% on average). On losing nights, it will be far, far less. And usually in that equation for losing nights, the actual number of showdowns is higher than usual, as well. The number of starting hands you play is cer
  4. Honestly, I have very little idea what you're talking about, but I can guarantee it would cost more than $24.95 to do all that.
  5. I hope nobody did that - they would have missed the only part of the Orange Bowl that was close. I think Oklahoma's a bit short-stacked. Wow.
  6. I have actually seen Phil play at those limits before, he does it every once in a while either for amusement or to give folks a chance to play with him who wouldn't normally get to. Howard Lederer and others do the same on Full Tilt. The last time I saw him playing at that limit, he was playing with only about $25. Someone from the observer lot started giving him crap about not really being Phil and how he was a poser and all that.Phil didn't respond to him. So the guy kept talking and kept talking, annoying all the other players at the table and some of the other observers.Still, Phil didn't s
  7. I've played Bally's, the Sands and the Trop. Haven't gotten to Borgata yet and haven't played at the Taj. Heard only good things about the Borgata, heard only bad things about the Taj, but as I haven't played in their rooms personally, I can't really add anything on those.Bally's: I liked this room at first, but that may be because that was where I started playing. As I have gained more experience, I've become more disenchanted with their room. On the good side, now that they have gotten rid of the blackjack tables, the wait time is usally small to non-existent. They spread holdem and stud, th
