  1. As I type, Daniel Negreanu is at the final table of the $5200 PLO SCOOP event. This final table will get him into the TOP 10 for POY going into the WSOP. More important, it will get him very close to T.J. Cloutier on the all-time list. Cloutier is #4 right now and Negreanu is #5. If this result doesn't get Negreanu past Cloutier then I'm sure that by the end of the WSOP he'll be #4.
  2. I've now added links to additional lists including the list of all 8,910 ranked players. These lists are on Google Drive and I've made them public so it should be OK. If anyone tries these links could you let me know the results. If they work, I'll add more.
  3. 2012 WSOP Europe stats added. Top 10% finishes for Daniel Negreanu and Michael Mizrachi in PLO has Kid Poker moving from #6 to #4 and The Grinder moves up from #60 to #38.
  4. For the last couple of months I've been compiling tournament result data to determine the top tournament players. This isn't for this year - this is for "all time". This isn't for online or live - this is for online and live. This isn't dominated by NL Holdem results - this is for all types of poker. I realize that this is probably more fun to do than to read but if you're interested you can see the Top 300 here. I currently have about 84,000 qualifying (top 10% of field) finishes with about 8000 players ranked. I've begun to add blog entries with interesting (to me!) rankings like
  5. Thanks Daniel.I won Tony Guoga's (PokerNews/ChipMeUp) similar WSOP contest in 2009 so I picked Tony this time. In 2009, he said he was working on his mixed games - maybe this year we'll see the fruit of that hard work (but I'm not holding my breath).Good luck to everyone.
