  1. I went like three months without playing a live game and only played online. My online play was awesome, but it took me a while to get readjusted to playing live, so I would say playing exclusivly online is bad for your live game. However, now I play live and online almost daily and I feel like my play in both is the best its ever been.
  2. It sucks when you flop the nuts out of the BB and get outdrawn.Rebuy, wait for the exact same situation again, and make the same call again. In the long run you come out on top.
  3. Ive lost my entire bankroll playing drunk 2 times. Fortunetly my bankroll wasn't all that big when this occured, but now that it is becoming fairly sizable, I just don't play while im drinking anymore.
  4. You really see some of the worst people in the world in Atlantic City Casino Card rooms.I've had a guy hit his wife who was sitting next to him at the table, A guy throw his umbrella at the dealer while he walked away from the table, and I dealer call me a ****ing ******* while he walked away from the table after I won a pot that was less than 10 dollars and didnt tip him.On the other side of things, there are some nice people who you can have a lot of fun with that you meet at the tables there. And the elder folks definetly think young kids are bluffing way too much...haha
  5. He's been lucky, but you have to be lucky. He is also a good player, and if he wins this year it makes him the best player in WSOP history in my mind. You still have to play amazing poker to outlast as many people as he would to do to go back to back.
  6. I saw those too...Can those really be right? So many big players lost millions in chips.
  7. I would love to see Farha, and Gus Hanson at a final table together....would be a blast to watch on TV.
  8. Why Bet out with a flush after the board pairs on the river and the betting was capped after the flop and the turn. Gotta know your beat there, unless you had someone on a lower flush.
  9. I took a bad beat holding KhQc with a board of Kc Qd 2d. The only other player that was close to me in chips moved in after I bet out about 100 in chips. I called and he showed AcAh. Lost when the board paired dueces on the river.I was down to 50 in chips...with the buy-in being 100 and very late in the tournament. I moved in the next hand with Jc4c and was called by the same person who took the monster pot off me the hand before with KK. I was ready to leave and put by coat on until the flop came J 4 10 and I went on to win the pot, double up and take first place!...almost 1000 dollars c
  10. Poker paid for my books this semester, its pretty sweet
  11. PLaying Omaha I floped Quad Queen's only to have a shortstacked player move all in on an ace high heart draw. A10h in his hand, Q 7h on the board. Sure enough off comes the J and K of hearts on the turn and river. Worst beat I've ever taken. Fortunetly he was down to less than a buy-in (10 bucks) so it wasnt that big a deal
  12. OK...but lets say you totally miss the flop and it checks around to you after raising preflop in a 3-6 limit game...Better to bet or just check and hope for help?
  13. I just cant seem to play AK right. What is the best way to play AK in both limit and no limit games. Both Pre-Flop and after the flop when you miss a pair would be appreciated. Thanks
