Just started playing stud on Bodog, a game with an ante is the best way to clear the bonus there where you have to contribute to rakeded pots to get money clear.The weird thing is the also have 5 card stud, I haven't seen that for years. We used to play a High Low version called Souzem but this is regular high. Game selection is limited but when there is a game it is often good as few people seem to know how to play 5 card stud well.If you know how to play though it's great.

I've been on Bodog for a week mostly limit Hold'em and NL SNGsThe ring games can be very soft but sometimes you will run into a table with what are probably too many bonus whores and it can be tuff. Just leave the table.The SNG's seem tight often getting to level 3 still with a full table, stick with Party.

I do play the BB tables, more so when the Jackpot is over $100k as it is now.To find soft tables at 3-6 and 2-4 I often troll up to 8 tables using poker tracker and jump into the softest ones and stay there until the weeker players are cleaned out.Of course doing this sets me up for some jaw dropping bad beats every once in a while but over all it's better as I think this is the lowest level where you will run into tough profesional players that you have to be able to spot an deal with.

In general good poker players would want to avoid jackpot tables because of the increased rake and small chance of winning the jackpot. But arn't these type of tables just the kind of thing that would be appealing to poor players, therefore should be extra soft?On Party's 3-6 limit tables most of the regular ring game action is now on the 6 handed tables which I don't like because of the increased swings in my bank roll.But the regular 10 handed tables seem tighter and that the true fish have swarmed to the jackpot tables.
