  1. Hey I've never gone through a reload bonus before... is it as simple as withdrawing my money, then redepositing it with the bonuscode they provide?? ThxChris
  2. Geez who pissed in your cheerios this morning? (j/k)Aseem you make excellent points, and for ideal analysis you're spot on. But sometimes ideal analysis is too much.In regards to posting turn and river cards with flop / preflop questions - sometimes we misplay entire hands, and just need a quick dirty analysis to get fixed up. It's not perfect analysis, but it's good enough to get the main points across, without spending a lot of time on the initial post. Also, many people may need to see the big picture first before they delve into the nitty gritty details of a hand.Perhaps we should create a
  3. I like check-raising the flop here too, (assuming you think you'll get bet at from CO). That is a good flop and you should be ahead more often than not.
  4. Kind of expeciting to get flamed for this, another hand I played way too passively. 5. I really donked this hand up good. Played it way too passively.Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) internettexasholdem.comAfter 80 hands or so, SB was solid TA player. No read on UTGPreflop: Hero is UTG+1 with [Qc], [Qh]. 6. Actuary & TJ, thanks for the kind words. So for an update... after 4 hours, of playing 2/4 and trying to sober up drinking lots of water... well on Pacific, I'm down about 20$ (5BB), and on Empire, I'm up about 70-80$, 20BB. It's not been a bad session, and I had my KK run into AA and cost me a decent pot, and once I timed out when I called preflop with 77. I raced back to my computer (from the loo) to see my flopped set get mucked. Doh!Oh the ATs question was to a raise.. if no ones entered yeah, fire it up and raise, but I was asking what to do if raised in front... and my usual answer i
  7. No, no, I would never do that... the gf would kill me.,.. the sad thing is that this is FUN! Just lost a 12BB pot vs a preflop raiser that had QJo... I had 77, flop came Jxx thought I was good.... I'lll get him... wooDamn... multi table is much harder when boozingOn that note... my Empire / party name is nOT gloynerOn second note... do you fold Q9 to unraised pot/?Do you call a prelfor raise (MP) with ATs??? I folded
  8. Alright... this is not so much strategy, but negative stratgey... just got bac from the bar, and I think my judgmetn is not clouded, adn I could care les about work tomorrow (I'm an IDEAL worker), so lets play some 2-4 multi table.... I'll post results in a biut..... and if crazy hands come up, welll they will come here soon. Soooooo this is a I'mn drunk lets play 2-4 post, lets ee how goood I am in autopilotPS > I'm not expecting much... and from the looks of my post, if I don't bust my roll, I'll be happy PSS > FCP rocks
  9. Interesting, maybe it's something I need to work on my game. Here's my thoughts:I agree if it was folded to us, but with the presence of MP2 and Mp3, I'm thinking chances of isolating are slim, and AQo isn't great multiway... Assuming UTG+1 isn't a total donk, preflop raise puts us usually at best 50/50 with UTG+1, and more than likely behind. Anything inherently wrong with those thoughts?
  10. Just wondering, I found this 3 bet pretty aggressive... is this standard without any reads? AGainst a raise from UTG I will call or fold AQo depending on reads. And yeah, the check flop? huh?!
  11. When in position (like this hand), I'd raise/fold. Getting 3-bet is a sure sign you're no good. I think the number of times you raise and get a free river card offsets the times you get 3 bet in this situation. When out of position, I'd bet/call, then reevaluate the turn, more than likely check/folding unimproved. Both plays cost the same regardless of position. I think peeling and folding is a little weakish and you may become easy to read if an opponent was observant (a long shot online but you know). Always betting / raising disguises when you hit or miss as well.
  12. The latest release versions of GT+ have a feature where, if the name has disappeared from the Pacific window, you can drag a "pointer" to that window so that GT can find it.That makes so much sense it has to be true! Thanks guys.Yeah between the annoying tournament pop-ups and the scrolling-changing table name, Pacific sure can be aggravating. Chris
  13. I've actually had some issues with PT when playing on Pacific where GT+ does not bring up any data. It will recognize that I am at the table, and let me select it from the drop down list, but nothing else happens. Happened twice now, and it usually just goes away when I sit down at a new table. And yeah there is some lag, or I'll be at a table, and some players stats will disappear, then reappear, etc... I just attribute it to lag and move on.
  14. With the reads given, the check/call action is awfully suspicious. Even still I think I'd still raise after hitting the flush. If this is full ring, or even 6 handed, I think it's a call as it's likely villain has Tight. 3 handed, I think it's about 66% we're ahead (only really behind 33, 44, 66, Ax clubs) and ahead of many more plausible raising hands (all other PP, AT, KT, QT) etc. I think we'll be ahead more than 66% of the time so a raise should be profitable.Just my thoughts.
  15. If it's just one raise to me in the BB I'll usually call liberally, except with junk offsuit hands - 92, J4, K3, Q2 etc. Qxs and above I'll call one, and even low connectors (suited or not) I will call with. For one extra small bet, it's usually worth it for hands you can easily let go of if they don't hit. Note this is for small stakes only.
  16. Hand 1 looks fineHand 2 - with the presence of a poster it may be worth a call to getovercalls preflop. QTs can play well multiway. Depends on the table, if an unraised flop is rare, or there's no poster it's an easy fold. But with a poster and a loose passive table i think it's worth a call. Turn is an easy fold getting 2.5-1 with a flush out there.Hand 3 - I'd favour a limp or fold, although folding may be really tight in this situation. I think there are better spots to raise in. If it's KJs instead of KJo, then a raise is correct.
  17. Pacific, the home of 50-70% of people seeing the flop. I got a little loose aggressive and have given back my quick winnings, but I'm sure they'll return. Just be prepared to have your big pairs get cracked more often than any other site I've played on. AA = 33%, KK = 37%, QQ = 50%, JJ = 25% and so on (winning percentages).
  18. I'd play this the same. raise this preflop. Check / call is fine on turn, river is check/fold. I think I limp preflop (could be wrong), flop is fine, but I fold on turn. Only hand we're in front of is KT, JJ, TT. I'd play this the same. A bet may be warranted on this river... as river was a blank. I'd put Villain on flush draw, but it's close between Bet/Check. Good post, these hands can be difference between 0-1 BB/Hr and 2-3 BB/Hr. And it's these types of hands that I need to improve my play on, especially quitting calling down when behind.
  19. Alright, 4 for 4 rebuy + addon allowed good enough for me. Thanks for the replies all, and the other shit... anyone else think that one girl Tifa was a hottie too... sigh...

  22. Question for the FCP Community. When playing a Rebuy / Add-on Tournament, if you bust out the last hand before the add-on period, can you rebuy, then add-on immediately? Or do usual rules stipulate you get just the rebuy?? (so you don't get in essence a 1 buy-in advantage)Assume that we're playing in a similar format to WSOP buy-in events. Thx
  23. Pacific has a 25% bonus on first deposit to max 100$. You have to wager 2000$ to release the bonus(100$ bonus), but you do get to play with the bonus right away. No rakeback, and few reload bonuses that I've seen so far (2 months).I was loving Pacific until a bad run of variance depleted half my account. But in the long run.... probably good for me, as I was getting a little ahead of myself.
  24. Putting your opponents on KK everytime they call a pre-flop raise is very weak. Especially if you were not re-raised preflop. KK should be re-raising preflop every time. This flop is almost perfect for you, no straight / flush draws and 1 K present for people with AK, or KQ that called. Bet this flop, probably 8-12 BB. If you then get re-raised consider slowing down, but that is table / image / read dependant.Cheersch
  25. I'll be honest, I haven't had much experience playing maniacs as described, but I don't think these folds are mistakes. If the table has been paying attention (never a given of course, but maniacs are hard to ignore), they should be waiting to attack the maniac and whoever comes along as well. #1) 105o is just not strong enough in this situation... 105s easy call. #2) Chances of a reraise from other limpers with only a gutshot would get me to fold #3) Either raise or fold, but against a maniac a raise doesn't give you any more info, especially if it's 3 bet. I'd wait for a
