very good idea.... that could def. be the problem cuz i only play .50/1 or 1/2 and im happy with a 100-200 a day but i might move on up.... I think i might take a vacation for a week and get away from everything also.I have about 4500 in my br so i might move up to 3-6

well i do play live about 30% of the time... i either go to atlantic city or i play at some clubs around here..... i do good in those games too but last week i played twice live and one night i lost and the other night i played for 6 hours and i was up and down and up and down.... i was just bored the whole time so i left about 30 bucks up.I think i might try to break for a week or two but its hard cuz this is how i make my money while im in school so i can only afford to take a few weeks off

allright.... Ive allways been a good tournament player and its because i have alot of patience and i make good decisions, but recently i have not been able to sit down infront of this computer and keep focused which causes me to make bad decisions and not do as well as i used to. I know its because i cant keep focus anymore cuz im getting distracted to easily. This never used to happen and it sucks cuz this is my first week in over 3 months that i havent made money.I guess my question is has this happened to anyone and what did you do??? i was wondering if there was some kind of drink or

i play alot of $50 sng's and i never play the same. You have to adjust your game to the players at the table. You cant go into every sng and expect to play the same way. If you do you will not make money. I find the competition at the higher levels easier for some reason. Now dont get me wrong, at $10 sngs you will accumulate chips from donks, but at the higher levels people know what they are doing and there arent as many suck outs. So maybe the competition isnt easier but i cash more on the higher limit sngs than the lower limit.

hey man i feel your pain. I play the $20 45 person sit and goes and the other night i played 6 total and they pay top 6. I went into the final table either chip leader or 2nd in chips 4 times and i got 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 7th. The other two i didnt make it very far.Yes i did make money but its disappointing to have huge chip leads and lose... 3 times i had atleast top pair vs flush draw and i lost all 3. The other one i got really short stacked and pushed with junk and lost

heres another question.... Do you tip the dealers after the tournament???? I won a tournament in atlantic city and the final 5 of us tipped the dealers. I made 3,400 so i gave the dealers 75 bucks and the floor man 25, only cuz he was cool and he could have penalized me a couple times for dumb ****. Do yall tip if yall place high in tournaments at your casino???

I play 2-4nl or 4-8 Limit and it depends on the size of the pot.... If its a huge pot i might tip 5 bucks but if its just the blinds i will tip a buck sometimes and nothing others... if its an average pot i will probably tip about 2 bucks..... im not a high roller yet

hes probably like alot of you young kids that are starting to play... his parents are probably very wealthy so he never had to build a bankroll from nothing... im pretty sure thats how molina got his money.... alot of poker players are lucky to have wealthy relatives to give them money to start out

this is so sick tonight..... 2nd tournament of the night and i had 3900 at break... the guy to my left has 10k and he has been reraising me so i pick up AK and raise it to 360 and he calls.... i hit the K on the flop and i knew he would bite so i made my ussuall continuation bet, it was 600, and he of course made it 1800 so i moved all in. He called with pocket fours and of course the 4 hits the river..... 2 tournaments tonight and i was doing well in both until i take nastsy beats..... i quit for a few days

im out too... sb with A2... everyone folded and i limped in and bb checked.... flop came 234.... i bet bb raised me... got sucked out on 2 hands ago so i had small stack so i pushed all in... thought i had the best hand anyways and the bb called with AK. Turn was a 7 and river K. o well just sucks that a few hands before that i had KQs and flopped top two pair and caught some guy bluffing with JQ and of course the river gave him the 9 for a straight and took more than half my stack How did you get knocked out bkice... i saw you got knocked out right after me

go to school. I personally went to UMD while i played online and now while im looking for a good fulltime job i play poker semi-professionally. You need your college degree. You can allways play poker online while in school and you wont be old enough to play in vegas. Its a no brainer man.

well im playing the 20k guarantee on ftp and i started off great... 7k at first break and 23k at 2nd break then i dropped all the way to fighting off the bubble.... when we made the money i was 117 out of 117.... lol.... i only had 2k in chips and now im in 19th out of 43...... im trying to make the biggest come back of my life and win this thing or atleast make the final table.... when i get there i would love to see some fcpers there for some support

Hey i applied to be a police officer in the city that i live in and today i got the call saying that I have to wait til the next academy which is 8 months away. They offered me a job as a corrections officer while i wait. That pays 37000 a year. I was only going to be a police officer so i could move up to federal in 5 years. either the DEA or FBI.I guess my question is would you do corrections or continue to play poker. The last 3 months ive been averaging 3000-4000 a month and before that it was around 2000 a month. I could play poker and go back to college and finish my bachelors then

Thats sick.... i will never play another tournament on bodog again.... Im doing ok with 5700 with the blinds at 75-150 but its insane having to fold every playable hand cuz these donks just push in if they see and ace Ill keep yall updated and let yall know when i make my 4th final table of the week
